Agreed, that's my favorite as well. And thanks to you, now I know what model number it is :tup:
At some point, the same lighter was also sold as the "Arc Turbo-flame"
However, I have to switch to my "Scorch Torch" when vaping at high elevations, above 10,000 feet or so the Zico won't ignite.

Had the same Zico a while back and loved it but it internally deconstructed after a few weeks time. I now have 3 of the vapman torches and love them. Vapman torches are basically a well made version the reliable honest torch that comes with the Lotus but with a larger tank (3 gram capacity iirc).

Mine broke in a day or so.

I wish it had worked well for me I really do. I have no idea how I messed it up, feels like it was faulty. I filled it once and then it would let butane out but then as soon as it sparks it cuts out. I ended having to throw the thing out.

It felt so damn nice in your hand though and was pretty damn easy to use.

I've got a small goose necked vector torch now and it's serving me well.

Tiny tank though.

Thanks for posting. Love this vape but I have already gone through 3 honest lighters in the space of a month of having the lotus.

That Amazon Zico is close, but not the model I have. Check out the Lotus site.

The Water Adapter is better than any GonG?

It seems that the knuckle heads that sell GonG's would make them out of stainless?

What is the typical altitude ceiling where these torches still operate well?
Trips planned out west and curious if the torches will even be practical.


Anyone have a clue what size and thread the screw is at the bottom of the Al. stem?

My Zico worked fine at 9500 feet, but wouldn't ignite at 11,000. At 11,000, my Scorch Torch (purchased at a head shop at over 10,000' in Leadville, CO) worked just fine! I had intended to do a 14,000' test when I cycled up Mt Evans, but forgot to pack it.

I haven't been in much altitude yet, but my Lotus does have a harder time hitting that sweet spot temp in cold weather. Just a little harder in the elements.

Almost 4 years of lotus usage!

I had a handful of others vapes and tried/tested some more (signature have most of them)

It tasted better, it was smoother (not from crafty ), it is faster, you can use with everything be hash mj or oils on cotton

And I use it everyday for 4 years, it survived a bike crash with just some "marks"

And with a water adapter there is no reason to let your friends combustion with their glasses, it is as easy as it can be, tell them and save them.


Just be sure you have butane bottle for refilling and/or a spare lighter.
As long as you have these two it will never let you down.

It was usable even with a small hole at hot-plate.

A Must have for every mj lover out there!!!
And when you order it, take the water adapter too you ll be amazed.

I'm happy to say I placed my order last night round 1am eastern the first step to become a brand new member of the Lotus family.

I noticed the actual manufacturer for Lotus frequents this forum and thats a plus.

Does anybody has any idea on how long after you placed your order it would take to receive it.

Most times when I order a vape from Cali they ship it the same day and gets here in 3 days by usps priority but since I made the order have not received anything else than a automated e-mail.

Maybe its still early in Cali and they will ship it later today. Any responses will be highly appreciated.

Not sure you'll have it by the weekend, mon/tues at the latest imo/:2c:

edit: There's not always a shipping notice but reading back it's been pretty reliable.

Thanks for the response as I read your comment I noticed I received an e-mail letting me know that my order will be shipped along with the tracking number. Excellent service I must say. Can wait to try this beast out.

Really disappointed right now with Lotus, this is thr first time I order a vape or an accesory and its sent through First class instead of priority mail.

Really disgusted that Ive ordered $20 accesories and they have the decency of sending it by priority.

I spend $143 total with shipping and these guys have the audacity of sending it first class and the package that has a delivery date of today is stuck in Cali since Tuesday.

Every delivery I had with the date comes the same day, first time somebody sends something by first class and its a whole device.

Dont even know what to think.

Edit: just contacted usps who advised me that theyll open an investigation cause the package has not been updated since Cali and it should have been here already.

So bummed wasted $100 in a qtr of kush to learn how to use the Lotus. I even dont want that ish anymore if it never gets here will I get a refund?

If the manufacturer reads this please get back to me Im seriously considering a fulk refund, Inhalater ripped me off $250 hard earned money and this people wont keep my money like that.

So disgusted with the vaping industry.

Disgusted? Audacity? You are impatient and fickle (see previous too posts), no fault of anyone at Lotus...

You paid for products, but did you pay for Priority shipping? If you did not specifically pay for Priority shipping [in addition to your goods], then you have absolutely no leg to stand on and are out of line attacking Lotus.

If you're serious about not wanting it and are actually as disgusted at the company as you claim to be, I'd be willing to buy your used Lotus off your hands so you don't have to deal with them anymore, especially if you have the water pipe adapter. A somewhat discounted price would be fair since it's a second hand product but you could ship it any way you want ;)

I received a lotus and wpa earlier this week and haven't been using anything else since. The lotus has the best flavor of any vape I've ever tried, and really packs a punch. It does require lots of butane, but I haven't gotten my methods exactly dialed in yet either. Maybe it's a honeymoon phase, but the lotus is my favorite.
