You inspired me earlier to play and my current lotus setup is a tree perc ash-catcher attached to my j-hook.
Sound like the perfect set up!You inspired me earlier to play and my current lotus setup is a tree perc ash-catcher attached to my j-hook.
The ones on the bottom are not used with the LOTUS or DABBING.I think you missed this question...
How do you like the second one on the bottom row? I have been thinking about getting it, but I notice it is not on your "most used" list. I have been looking for a good 90° angle torch.
I DO have the pistol grip one on order, but it has been a long time and I may not receive it.
I like the simple things. Made a small stand peice for this little creation.Do what feels right to you!
@Pipes inspired me.
I'm bored! OK Ideal let have a glass lego contest?
We could invite everyone to conpete?
@jambandphan03 has an imagination and @Frederick McGuire
@Snappo has something up his sleeve I bet!
@Ratchett and a few other are thinking?
^^^ wow, I didn't quite realise just how small the D020 is... the Lotus cap for scale gives me a good comparison now.
Looks nice though...
I got the other vortex-looking one, it looks great with the j-hook. I'm not enamored with its performance with the lotus though, so I'm looking forward to your impressions. In my opinion the D020 puts the cap too close to my face for comfort. I also REALLY hate ABV blowback into the lotus (afraid of ruining the taste of the cap)
I ordered a custom angled 15 degree 18mm male to 14mm female adapter from Oregon Glass to angle the Lotus away from my face and so I could get a grip on the adapter and use as a carb to prevent blowback.
Looking to buy this ash catcher soon to pair with the J-Hook. I think that will be a perfect match:
Only complaint is that I'm a lefty and would like the female joint on the other side, but it's chinese glass. For $23, it's worth it

I find the T38 to work well however it consumes a lot of Butane.I missed my lotus so much. It truly is my new favorite vape. Also the grenade style $3 torch from amazon is definitely far more reliable than a t38...

What's wrong with the T38? Is the flame too short? Mine works like a champ - starts every time, never sputters out
Yes, exactly what mine does. And at times it would not turn off unless I flicked the switch again. Still very usable as a back up.It's sputtery a lot and has a tendency to keep burning for a second after I let go of the switch
@ataxian Like you the urge to use the lotus during the day is very strong. It is already a daily driver in my opinion! And it is my favorite for pre-bed sessions too.
Much of the spuddering is do to the gas quality, but IMO, cutting out or staying on has more to do with the lighter mechanism. In our use it needs to be able to take the heat when long on times are the norm. A good controllable and reliable flame is just as important for this type vaporiser as the vape itself. So $10-20 bucks for a lighter is well worth it.Both my honest and my t-38 do crap like that, I thought it was normal.
The LOTUS is very powerful.
My temptation to use it during the day is over helming. At night it will put me out! No electronics to deal with! It's not my driver however I use it often!
The LOTUS hit's very hard and it's my feel like a joint device while staying healthier. The Firefly hits very hard... The Lotus hits like Hulk! I love them both but Lotus is the one that ruled them all!
If I was looking for a recreational gizmo the FIREFLY might be handy.
If I want a self-induced COMA a LOTUS is the most practical.
If FLAVOR CHASING is the GOAL the NANO blows them away.
The VAP 2 is way too cheap to fulfill ones EGO however the FLAVOR is pretty unmatched!
We all have different needs.
Depends if your needs are RECREATIONAL or MEDICAL?
This is were the disconnect is!
Vaporizers are just heating devices to extract the medicine.
ELECTRICITY BATTERY FLAME they all do the same!
The LOTUS fills a need for sure.
PERCEPTIVE!
For me CANNABIS is the HOLY GRAIL!
I agree with you however for my medical condition the SOLO is my driver. The LOTUS I love and use more often than you can imagination. The FIREFLY is most likely a very good vape however I have devices that work great already. Single plant growing COLAS as big as possible are more enjoyable for me personally.
You were saying the same story before you get the Lotus....
The Firefly kicks Solo's ass anytime and is very similar to the Lotus in many ways!
Nice flower by the way!!

My new Jobon is a way better and lasts a long time between fill ups and doesn't get overly hot from extended on times. This is a big problem IMO to how a lighter performs after a couple weeks of action. Plastic parts tend to stop clicking and engaging properly after subjected to prolonged near melting temperatures. At least that's my theory as have gone throw many lighters in my day.
