Just like to mention most of those were turned up to full. The lighter isnt great but a little better then in those pics. And new lighter on the way hopefully it helps.
Your lighter is busted and not firing as it should be. Stop tormenting yourself and get a dozen of them to have in hand from dx.com. Some are busted but most are ok usually. Your Lotus is just fine. Hung in there…

I doubt it will help but nevertheless purge your lighters before each and every fill….

Got this Visol Fiamma lighter in and am loving it. It's a tank, holds a ton of "tane", has a flame on lock and safety lock, sits perfectly in my hand with a nice angle, and the best part (that I was unaware would be so nice) is that the outside of the nozzle barely gets warm after a session. Plus I had it personalized for a certain special vape I have come to thoroughly enjoy.
It is broken though
...It doesn't adjust flame. Luckily the flame level that it's stuck at is almost perfect for the Lotus.
But it would be nice to be able to adjust. I have taken it all apart (shhh, don't tell anyone in case I do have to return it!) and can see how to fix everything else but not sure what the adjustment knob is supposed to turn above the tank to increase or decrease flame level (the adjustment valve turns but flame does not adjust)....
I tried google and found a little info but no answers on what the adjustment does.
Any advanced lighter technician specialists around these boards?

I have been using the Honests for a long time now and not one busted in my hands. It's nice to have a bunch though since they are so cheap…

How comfortable is it to use, seeing that it is not the recommended crook necked style?

I paid $25 for my lighter lol. But it's a vector and has a lifetime no proof warranty. So I never need a receipt if anything is ever wrong with it. Works great

That's my concern as well. I prefer the ergonomics of the crook neck style.

It is very nice to be sitting on my couch enjoying 3 of the best portables in the game and sipping some Cognac. Milking this lotus via a j-hook is stupid sick. I love watching that glass go from crystal clear to be full of the most dense and tastiest vapor ever!! I need a better j-hook, hopefully the guy at lotus glassworks can hook me up.. damn just noticed that lotus glassworks for a lotus vape...I am high as shit!! Anyways this lotus rocks, my FF rocks, my hammer rocks too!!...I feel good...played some tennis vaped some bud, sippin some cognac. life is good!!

Plus if you look my lighter has the button on the side so it's pretty easy to press upside down actually.

How reliable are those expensive torches that you guys have? I have seen several vids where they don't fire properly and need many clicks to start a fire... The Honests on the other hand always fire at once ime.

This single flame one seems good but that double that I paid a bunch for didn't fire properly so I sent it in for repair(it's got a lifetime warranty). But this single seems to have given me back the flavor profile I have been missing with the double.

Wow $15 - $25 is expensive for a high quality lighter like Mark's Vector or my Madelaine? When you are telling people to buy a product inferior, that may not even work, so get 12???
The flame control is awesome, this is well built. Quite click compared to Honest and works everytime! No Lemons yet, cousin had it for multiple years and works awesome, still to this day! That's value, IMO...
