Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

T1 is like driving a stick, and INH is like an automatic on cruise control... it drives for you. T1 requires some patience, and skill when getting that perfect vapor hit. You have to work for it a bit more, holding the switch "on", counting the warm up time, easing into the draw, but it is built like a tank and should last a very long time. No electronic parts to mess with or go bad on you. It's about as basic as it gets. I personally like having it around for backup purposes... it does work.

INH is just much more plug and play...you can quickly load the cart, load it and turn on the power...wait about a min. and go until satisfied, no switches to hold on, no "counting" seconds pass as it heats. The light tells you when it's ready to hit... pretty easy. It is an electronic device, and is prone to failure on different levels because of all the electronic parts, but there is a 1 year warranty, and so far there have not been many complaints, esp. about the latest release. I am very curious about the newest model- XP

I think i ll keep my T1 for when I go for ski... And get a smooth automatic car for the city and indoor "trips"

Thank you very much for your help, that was what I was thinking for that 2 babies too!!

BaMbAaAChA,
I'm still waiting for the same fix as ru_frothi. That, and my unit will never charge! I have to hold the charger in the unit in order for it to charge.

I received an email from Greg at Pharmacor technology regarding the new XP model. Here's the email pasted word for word:

Many thanks for your patronage and interest in Inhalater technology.

The model your discribe; with digital temperature and battery level display along with internet communication is in fact the INH005. This model is scheduled for release in 2014.

The XP is in essence upgraded electronics and will have the same basic exterior appearance and dimensions. The branding will be somewhat more discrete and it will be also available in anodised black aluminum finish.

The XP electronics supply, in my opinion, a 25% increase in performance. This is mostly related to a new heating chambre with flat heating elements for better heat distribution and quicker reacting temperature sensing.

The XP additionnaly has an Automatic temperature setting; this setting is to be used with prefilled Inhalater tobacco capsules. In fact, I beleive this will be the first vaporizer on the market to permit enjoyable use of tobacco.

Don't hesitate if you have any other questions
Best regards
Greg

So, it seems the INH004 XP is only worth it for the increase in performance, namely the heat distribuition and a more sensitive thermometer. How will this translate in taste, intensity and efficency is still unknown. As well as how it will affect battery life.

The digital temperature will only be worth it if you can set any temperature you like, otherwise, it would be best to keep it simple and analog. The battery level display is the most important new feature IMO since it is something that is very helpfull in portables.

It seems like it is just a fix for the issues some of us are having which is great. I am glad it will be the same as we have now. Now if you want to wait to 2014 you can get a digital display unless I read it wrong which makes it a whole different vape. Hmmmmmmmmm maybe I will get that one when it comes out who knows and then sell this one. I won't early adapt the new one since I love what I have. I am just waiting for the fix so I can get rid of the dim green light when trying to turn it back on and it won't heat unless I wait in between. The xp solves that issue from what I understand.

That is correct, the XP model will fix the dim quick flashing green light.

Ok I edited the 214 to 2014. I wish the edit will work on the replies as well:o I hate when I make typos but do it often.

Yep that is what I thought kaptan...can't wait for no more dim light. I wonder what the new sticker will look like since they said they are changing it. It never bothered me and now it is covered with neoprene cause I am playing. I figured if I can make a sleeve, I can just push it down over the dial and the dial won't move while the INH flops around in my lap. It worked fine on my bed and no more moving dial. I just slide the neoprene up and down as needed. It also gives it cushion if it falls. I made a full sleeve but hated it so just folded it in on itself to make it about two inches in height which works good for me. We will see since I just did it last night.

I used one of those freebie can holder neoprene pieces and cut it up and sewed it by hand. No I can't sew so if I can do it anyone can but my guess is you will all hate it

The Inhalater products are 100% compatible with any micro USB charging device. The supplied cable is made uniquely for charging and does not support data transfer. As for the charger, some anterior units had high frequency interference wich did affect complex devices like a phone. Newer units are interference free and may be used anywhere.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I didn't know usb's had different frequencies. Why oh why, not you inhalater, make all the usb plugs the same...a regular and a mini(not the really small one wasn't sure if that was micro or mini) with all the same frequency. I am sure that cell phones have some tech reasons for this. I know my blackberry was a tough fit sometimes. A lot of usb plugs didn't work. Now I have a my touch and had the freezing issue with the INH plug. Not really a big deal to me but wouldn't it be nice to have one plug hanging around instead of a whole bunch.

To charge the vape faster; presumably. You could just use your phones cord on the vape if you wanted to use only one cord.

Also, the really thin plug is the micro, and the slightly larger one is the mini

Thanks....faster hmmmmmmmmmm why?
Thanks for the plug difference, I hate them all and I am sure I will forget which is which again. It does make sense that the smaller one is micro so it might stay in my brain.

hey Dreamerr ,
In your signature ,
you have
Up nest the SSV ....do you mean Up next ?

Sorry , nothing better to do right now ....hehe

cleaned out mouth piece to find resin collected from condensed vapor.
Does the vapor condense into resin in the lungs? This stuff was like mar-mite
I use my epik that I got for my cloud and just scrap the edges. It was a nice amber in color. But yes it does get collected up quite quickly.

I suppose you are correct....OMW I have used so much tonight.

Dreamerr,
I'm sure the answer is here somewhere but I did a search and couldn't find it. Those of you who remove the screen from the heating chamber in order to clean, how are you getting the screen out? I'm trying a bent paper clip to no avail...

I bent a straight pin to grab it out with... took a few tries but I got it...
