Whenever I have ever combusted, I immediately clean all glass parts(Mouthpiece, 18mm joint, ect) with ISO. For the wooden units, I use warm water, a q-tip, and a pipe cleaner. I do not recommend using Isopropyl alcohol on wooden units. There other methods like
@KidFated. mentioned above where people will use clear high proof drinking alcohol. It will take a little elbow grease to get what you can out depending how badly you combusted. You also want change the screen in your chamber and clean the steel ring above the chamber.
It will take a few chambers as others have stated, for the taste to subside. It has been a while since I combusted in a unit, but it's definitely better to clean it as soon as it occurs.
