You don't taste bad "popcorn" at any point with the Herbie it seems?
@Ratchett I find the adapter a bit large toward the bowl if large enough you could place a splashguard for HTs.
If you are looking for a cure to a mild case of VAS, then I think you are in luck. This device is so robust and powerful, it will replace a small army of devices.
If you VAS is a very acute case, then this might buy you the time to recover.
But if your VAS is a *cough* chronic case, I don't think there is any cure for that other than "ALL OF THEM!"
No current discounts. And the device is so new (and in high demand) that I wouldn't expect to see any more on it for a while.
Again: Mass Drop doesn't always get permission and will quite just often grey market the products. The manufacture does not have to honor any warrantee sold though unauthorized resellers. Goes to show how great the Herbalizer customer service is that they said they would still take care of this batch of people. But, BUYER BEWARE.
(Oh, and note how vague any warrantee documentation is at MD. They claim it is a "full" warrantee, but as other purchasers of other vapes have found out only well afterwards, it is a "MassDrop Warrantee", not the manufacturer's. Which means when something goes wrong -- if MD still backs the device -- it has to source another grey market unit. It's all a bit shady.)
.
Bottom line is I am comfortable throwing out my abv after I have expelled everything Herbie can get at 445, no matter how light the color of the abv is. Whatever little bit might be left in it is hard to get and tastes like shit anyhow.
What is the recommended temp to store the devise itself. I keep my vapes in a garage/shop, and sometimes in the heat of the day it possibly gets up to 90+ degrees in there. Do you think this devise would be ok at that temp, or should it be kept in a air conditioned room?
The only thing I would add to this comparison is that this "last bit" doesn't taste bad at all if you load the evo with green herb, because you will be getting that last bit along with the first "terpinny" bits so a more complete extraction without the poor taste. For me herbie is more of a daytime vape, when I want to get knocked out it's the evo/infinity. I feel the same about herbs in the sublimator compared to sublimate.I decided to do some real testing last night. I vaped two bowls from Herbie at 445 until there was nothing but trace vapor being exhaled. I then took that abv and filled an elb and hit it in the Evo on high. I was able to get four average hits before it stopped producing.
The Evo hits weren't very enjoyable, but they were there. They tasted crummy from the beginning and I thought I was getting close to combustion from the second hit. After checking the load the lower half was very dark.
anyone having any problems with the fan? Has it lost its touch over time?
@stickstones When done at 445 open the bowl and empty the contents.
Grind/crush the material to a fine powder and reload the bowl.
Replace at 445 and find those last few remnants!
And still no popcorn taste!!
Hey all!
Just wanted to post an update about the Herbie 18mm Adapter! The design is finished and I've ordered the first ceramic model - hopefully the prototype is a perfect fit (but who knows!) - I will have the ceramic prototype sometime in early September!
Do you guys use the whip? I find the herbalizer to be awful with the whip ... I feel like I can't get a big lung full
You can use a bigger diameter whip (3/8" id, 1/2" od) for more volume, it will fit on the outside of the bowl connector instead of the inside. 7th floor whip tubing fits perfectly.Do you guys use the whip? I find the herbalizer to be awful with the whip ... I feel like I can't get a big lung full
It says a lot about the Herbalizer's quality that I have to go searching under rocks (or pearls) in order to find something to complain about.
