With the fiber filters and extra top screen maintenance is pretty much non-existent now.
I hardly even have to clean or swap the top and bottom screens now either.

Speaking of which,
I just popped some of that reclaim fiber in the bowl at 445f and
holy fuck

I'm gonna have to turn the heat down next time I try that which will be very soon.
Taste great, and way more potent than I had imagined it would be.



Oh yeah why turkey bags?
The provided ones seem to work pretty good.
As others have posted it's good to hold it down while filling,
but I like the squeezevalve for inhaling out of.

Yes. My results were successful

@grokit I don't have extra bags, I mean I have 3 extra bags, but I'd prefer not to use more valves, its easier just to replace the bag with a reynolds oven bag and cheaper.

Mma, if anything ditch your Sublimator and get an Herbie. I personally use less material and get higher vs the Sub.

I just did a replacement bag using my nastiest squeezevalve with a large size Reynolds oven bag 16 in x 17.5 in.
The reason for this is I have used 3 out of 4 squeezevalve to the point where they are sticky and stanky, and I prefer having a weekly freshly bag. The orange tag at the end of the squeezevalve bag is key to using your own bags.

Good to know you can replace the bags yourself. I didn't wanna have to wait on shipping for proprietary bags, and I have some volcano bag rolls left over that I would use for my extreme Q.

A question for the more seasoned Herbie users. How much material does one have to use to make using a bag worthwhile. I usually use 0.05-0.07g load with the 'direct inject' straw setup I have. I can't imagine that being a good quantity for bag use. Thanks in advance.

How about Y shaped bowl coupling for hooking up TWO whips to one bowl? Really turn Herbie into an e-hooka.

I just threw in an estimated .07-.1 in the bowl At 394° and got a real nice bag. I would say it is most definitely worth it. Give it a try.

Did a 2nd bag at 420°F and the vapor was very light.

I looked at some Herbie AbV under a microscope and the plant material looked like a nuclear wasteland. Capitates were all sorts of cooked. It was pretty cool to look at a flower, put into an Herbie, extract it and then compare the ABV with fresh.

Who has USB microscope?

{EDIT: looks like the image hosting really didn't like the tall image and resized it, which is a shame as the larger image you could make out the trichomes in the top photo much better than at the reduced size. }

In making the above photos, I used ~0.07g. Got quite a bit off of the second bag, but I wouldn't call it thick. 3rd+ bags still had visible vapor, but I was tossing it out into the room, trying to exhaust the product for the final photo.

Spoke to the team via phone today. My Herbie isn't ready yet but their reason was more than sufficient.

If anyone has ever spoken to them on phone you understand what I'm saying when I tell you that you feel like your calling family. Carrie answered the phone and when I said who it was I was greeted like I was an old school mate.

Yes, I want my Herbie back but I bet their cooking apple pies and cookies in there. Now I picture the facility somewhat like what Santa would have. With medical lab coats and rubber gloves, but none the less just like Santa.

Only two posts above your first time asking, mvapes mentions that he talked to them on the phone. You might try doing that or just send email.

My local shop just wrote me they got herbalizer in stock. Dam I got 10 precent coupon there to might have pic one up tomorrow. If I get one at a shop, do they still honor that 2 year warranty.
