I wanted more stability so I created a low rise Gong. Again, anyone want info hmu!

Do tell how that wonderful looking contraption is made!

Would a glass piece from vapexhale that sits on the unit suffice or should I look elsewhere for a good glass piece?

This is the exact setup I was thinking about buying! Few questions:

How do you like it with the herbie?

What temps and how many draws are you getting per load?

What is the high like for you at said temps?

Ok folks, I have a problem. It's called VAS. I am now officially watching this thread. This machine seems to be quite nice! I plan on owning one before 12/2014.

@didolgi The reason why your aunt coughs with the first bag is because the oils that are released at low temps are hygroscopic so in this instance will dry your lungs out. These oils are actually good for you and enhance the effects of the cannabinoids. Just get some boveda packs(google about them) and things should get better. After the first bag regrind the herb for a more better grind for the rest of the session.

Had a couple friends stop by this evening, both heavy combusters, and they were in awe of the Herbalizer. I think the fact that I had it hooked up to my bubbler really caught their eye. The speed of it too. Couple rips through the bubbler, done. Heats up faster than you can grab your lighter. An official GonG adapter would definitely help them win new customers.

How are you liking that jhanpixel ufo bubbler? i really like the look of it and is as close to the mobius ion as i'll get for now. good diffusion and taste with herbie? I was thinking of getting that bubbler with the ssv 18mm hose adapter, to ssv tubing, to herbie.

I'm definitely happy with it given the price. There are a few imperfections in the glass, but overall it is a very solid and clean looking piece. The showerhead perc is slightly crooked, but it fires properly and hits quite nicely with no drag. Flavor is good. It's not going to give you as much diffusion as a matrix perc, but for me it's a great balance of diffusion and flavor. I would recommend it if you want a nice piece of glass without breaking the budget. I really enjoy using this bubbler with my Herbalizer.

Speaking on water tools I had a thought. It is not well devoloped or thought out to the extreme, so its viability may be nill. But, here it goes. I love using the bag system, that is a first for me! Any way, we all know how the bag system mates to Herbie. My thought was to make a secondary bottom screw on adapter in 14mm. Or 18mm. Using the same materials found in the herb chamber. Then you could fill a bag. Have the wpa assembled with a second top cap on you water tool. Put the bag onto it, then remove the bag from the wpa. And clear. Also if you wanted, it would allow you to connect to a water tool, with a replacement whip, and 2 non-drawing ends (the piece that connets the whip to the herb chamber) you could directly feed vapor into your water tool via a whip. Though the cost could far outweigh the potential for profit? Don't judge me lol I am completely medicated from my Herbie and feeling very balanced.

it won't bother me much,

On rag, Iso I drip,
while hose I do grip,

Pull whip cleanly through,
(a firm grip will do)

Now wipe it dry,
Give it a try

Tackiness destroyed....

I am thinking of another feature to add to @mvapes' idea of making a glass/ceramic top cap with integrated 14mm gong adapter. I would like to see one with a bulb in it before the 14mm joint, to have the option of putting a bit of hemp or cotton fiber in there. The whip would hardly ever need cleaning, and reclaim would be a cakewalk. I've already got one on the far end of the whip so I can keep the goodies out of glass if I want, but it would be better If I could (optionally) keep that stuff out of the hose as well.

This was brought on by my futile search for a 14mm female/female glass adapter for my new roor recycler. I have one coming like this:

I wasn't going to let the cat out of the bag just yet, but there's an awesome blower here in Florida. They're called Sandalz Glass, the owner is good friends with my buddy @ogcook - I have contracted him to blow a recycler HT specifically designed to herbie's specs. I will connect to my low-rise 18 mm Gong. I'm hoping big time that's it done this week.

I promise it's gonna be sick - you guy's should check out his work on Instagram.

I'm having a couple of accessory issues...

My grinder card doesn't fit my stash box; it's not even close, over 1/16" off.
I guess the only way it's going to fit is to go find a bench grinder,
but that would hardly be an elegant solution.
According to the description it's made to fit under the box.


The other thing is I seem to have lost/misplaced my bowl coupling;
it's not available by itself and the two hose packages it's included with are "out of stock".

Glazed ceramic gong in either 14 or 18mm that is the top cap of the bowl!!
If he can scan a copy and modify with 3D software, anything is possible!

@grokit that is how it fits, if it went the whole way inside you would have to dump it over to get the card back. Yes it fits under the box in the mezzinine for storage.

As far as the adapter,
I am looking for 14mm female on both sides like the first one I posted,
but with space for a payload like the next two after that.
Nothing yet so far!

Glad to see everyone is still learning and enjoying. After having the herbalizer to test off and on I must say it is nice to have it full time. Since the start of the year I have vaporized 4 1/2 ounces of cannabis through the Herbalizer. It is the only device that I am saving the ABV to use later.

I have also tried other herbs and stuff, but I am waiting for a 2nd bowl before I really start experimenting with herbs. I don't want any cannabis residue in the bowl/whip so I don't have to worry about letting non-cannabis folks test out other herbs in the device. I also want to be able to note the effects of herbs with out having to take in to account any residual effects from cannabis inside the bowl/whip.

I threw my back and neck out this week... bummer. Was bad enough I had to go to my doctor and get the usual prescriptions. The herbalizer has been really great. I am able to customize the water tool with the whip to get it just right so I don't have to move my neck. Being able to get better results from a wider strain has been great. I have been able to mix my high CBD harlequin with other strains to get better pain relief etc.

Also that fan assist can come in handy. Having it blow vapor in your direction as inhale is really easy on the lungs/muscles. Also I think the Herbalizer is the best answer to what device should someone use after a tooth extraction. Being able to just breath the vapor through your mouth or nose with out using any suction or vacuum force is important. Dentists say any suction/vacuum force can cause you to get a dry socket. I think you are much less likely to get a dry socket using the fan assist. Just have to make sure you don't inhale to much and cough a bunch.

I noticed PV says on its site news it will be stocking herbie soon, does this mean us international vaporist wont have to wait till 2015 for international shipping straight from the company?..........also for some reason on the PV herbie update it says "date added 03/27/2014", at first i thought it was the posting date, until i realised its in the future.......does this mean it will be added to the stock from that date?

I am still reading quite a few pages back, due to a long absence.

But I am just here to say once again that I don't smoke pot anymore haha. Well, that isnt entirely true, I did treat myself to a couple of super tasty OG joints at the HTCC.... but I haven't smoked other than that since I got the herbalizer like roughly 3.5 months ago now? I have no interest either. I've changed a couple of smoking buddies over this, because I am now a vape zombie and their bongs are scared of me.

The Herbalizer is a daily thing, supported by the portable PAX and MFLB (which I like again due to Herbie's total lifestyle change for me, I vape now, so I like my little vapes.).

This thing has been a godsend, I save herb like crazy, enjoy herb more, have the temp thing to look forward too... flavor is always on point. I just can't say enough good about the Herbalizer. I really can't. The thing just freaking works... and it keeps working. Its truly pretty fucking amazing.
