Almost there...
Talking about small hit in the Herbie, this is what i have been doing.
I have some pipe screens that are bigger than the standard Herbie screens and work perfectly.
They are 3/4 inch screens i bought off Amazon
What i do is center a screen on my Nano stem and bend the sides down, this actually makes a screen that fits very well inside the Herbie container but is only about 2mm tall.
I fill the small screen and invert the Herbie bowl and gently press the filled screen in till it bottoms out.
Place the top on and you are good to go!
At 195 Degrees C i get quite a few nice light clouds and at the top end i can finish it in one hit if i use my Pinnacle WT.
I find i get less green flecks as the herb is closer to the heat and browns nice and evenly.
I will get some pics up this weekend!

Yeah it could be more evenly done but not too bad for a first try.
I'd like to see a pic of what you came up with.
I have some of those conical screens coming in the right size to see if they make a difference,
damn place sold me a bubbler (that I will dedicate to herbie) as well.

Shhhhhhhh! I've been keeping mum about this, as I don't have a herbalizer yet, and I want to be the person that finds this first. (I have a few ideas.) So don't mention this again! Shhhh!

I'm finding it really difficult to keep an airtight seal while using the whip... is anyone else having this problem? Also, Herbie freaked out on me a little while ago: I was holding down the increase temperature button and it shot straight to 445F and wouldn't let me adjust or do anything at all but close the lid to shut it off. After a opening and closing the lid a few more times, it became responsive again and back to normal. On the positive side, I'm very medicated off .05g of Lemon Kush. I haven't been getting very dense vapor, but the flavor is quite excellent and the hits are amazingly smooth. The fan assist is awesome. Bags are taking about minute to fill on a consistent basis. So far, the bags are proving to be the better option. One last comment, I'm having a hard time storing the whip so that the lid will close all the way. Am I just super uncoordinated or something?

Speaking of whips...
This is an example of what can be accomplished with some ssv tubing. It is used above to reinforce herbie's stock hose, and keep it from flopping over at the higher heat settings. On the other end, the OD of the tubing makes it a perfect 14mm SonG connector.
Or the ssv tubing can be used to substitute for herbie's tubing completely. In the short example above, it's making a direct connection from herbie's bowl to the 18mm GonG. Or it can be connected directly to something like my ssv tripod bubbler, or any 14mm female piece.

Try unplugging from the wall for a minute if the electronics are buggy, hopefully it just needs a reset.
Store the whip by crossing the ends at high noon, then do a flip-over-around with the rest easy.
You can definitely get herbie to make dense vapor or even combust, I didn't finish a large 1-hitter earlier and left it engaged at 430f for 10-15 minutes, then remembered to finish it and boom! Should have disengaged that bowl, or turned it down before I walked away but I spaced.

Those SSV tubing applications look intriguing. Could improve my experience with the whip. The bags are the best part about this vape IMO. So far, blowing up bags at 365F has been my most enjoyable experience. Clouds aren't that dense, but they're there, and they're consistent. I loaded .15g and just finished my fourth straight bag at 365F. Incredible flavor for the first two bags, and even now, it's still pretty decent. Vapor density is starting to dwindle. The herb looks like it could go for another bag or two still. Awesome.
Edit: Five bags at 365 and a sixth at 385. This thing is really efficient.

I will finally have some materials to test tomorrow I have been playing with the aromatherapy setting and my observations so far:
I am not sold on the wire mesh for aromatherapy oils. I can't help but feel small cotton pads would hold the oils alot better. I also found that when I did a test draw on the vapor setting, I could taste a bit of the aromatherapy oil, as it shares the same air vent. It went away after a little while, and didn't bother me that much, but it may bothers some folks. If there is a version two, perhaps a separate vent for the aromatherapy pads would be ideal.
Of course, I am no aromatherapy expert, so I could be doing things wrong.
On a positive note, it did fill the room up with a nice scent, which pleased my wife. She is not into vaporizing, so it is nice to have a device that appeals to her in another way,so that she doesn't mind having it around.
As to the messages that are supposed to display...how often should they pop up? I have only seen one so far, and have powered up the device a few times.

It looks like the messages only come up when Herbie is turned on with the lid-activated switch. Are you using the buttons to power up?
I don't have enough clearance where I want to park Herbie and am running her topless. A little disappointed that I am not getting the messages powering her up using the buttons.. : (
I have been plugging it in and lifting the lid, then selecting the mode that I want. I will usually get the Herbalizer logo and it will then jump into the temp adjustment screen. So far I have seen the message "Go Ducks" once. lol

That is acting a little different than my Herbie. If mine is already plugged in, when I open the lid it shows the message for a couple seconds, then the Herbalizer logo (with limited edition on side) is displayed until I select the mode.

I'll go back to page 50 and keep reading, but I just had to chime in. I had a chance to go in, and pick up my Herbalizer yesterday. Josh and crew are top notch people, and the visit was super fun and informative. I wanted the Herbie simply after talking to the cool crew who designed it.
Now for the scoop. This thing rocks. I have gotten as medicated as I can remember ever being on flowers with the Herbie, a bowl packed according to the instructions delivers dab-like potency.
But here is my best testimony of the Herbie's good design: I have not smoked a thing in 2 days! I don't even want to. Smoking seems lame compared to this thing!
I have not had a vaping experience before, that ever did that to me. I even wanted them to at times, because I liked the design of the vaporizer I was trying. My Pax, for example, is one I love but could not convert me. Well, the Herbalizer is well on its way to doing that. I need a carrying case and GonG adapter stat! I cleaned my 2 daily-use glass pieces, and all they have done is handle vapor from the Herbalizer. I have been having OK luck with a 18mm to 14mm reducer, but I am not sure how to measure the delivery yet. Still, the vapor through water is very nice.
I am so very impressed. Good job Josh and everyone at Herbalizer!

I get a message every time i open the lid, it is the first thing it displays for a few seconds.
Then the Herbalizer Limited Edition logo pops up and stays until you select the mode.

Just had a quick session with Herbie and decide to try direct draw using my E-Nano Stem.
A bit of silicone to hold it all together, just ensure the glass is touching the Herbie bowl so there will be no silicone taste.
Set Herbie to max, wait 12 seconds, place contraption on Herbie and inhale.
Totally different and amazing!!
I was kind of missing the heat i get from my other vapes and this has brought it to a new level!!
Flavor, heat and vapour is awesome!!
A glass stem similar to the VXL Clouds would be awesome for the Herbie!!
Something with a slight curve would work.
I know another member posted this set up a few pages ago and want to thank them!!!

You can press either the temp - or temp + in order to cycle through all the messages.
