With the tilt sensor shutting the thing off every time it's tilted off the horizontal, you might find it's impossible to wall-mount, assuming you mean a vertical, flat mount.
I still don't understand the point of the tilt sensor. Doesn't seem to save you from anything, but gets in the way of any fun ideas.

You'd prolly also have to do it upside-down, if you want the lid to stay open without some contrived retainer mechanism or something.
I think the price is fair if this device is made in the USA and their said start up cost is accurate.
But it is hard not to laugh at their claims and advertising videos, the way the mention 16bit as if that is the latest in tech, making people think this device is more of a PC, what it actually boils down to "thermostat" they would need a GPU and much more packed into this device to compare it to the Sega Genesis which is one of the earliest gaming systems anyways. My iron turns off when it is tipped over for too long also.
All in all at least you get more for your money than many other vaporizers on the market. I can not believe there is not more price complaining directed on the Sublimator thread, we are talking about a device with entry level machining, comparable to a cheap metal pipe, with cartridge heater and a dimmer for 500 $US, now that is a company making money hand over fist.

Well said Timothy . But you know when you put time , toil and tears into a product you come to believe its worth its weight in gold . In a few years I might find one used for a more reasonable price at least more affordable on a fixed income like ssi or ssdi . Most mmj users I know would have to spend a months $ for this amazing looking vape . ............. I know I have a little of that "Sour grapes" thing going on when I read this thread and dream of winning the lotto .

Ok, so I have a concern and it's not related to the vapor aspect of the device. (well not the vapor we are all interested in anyways) the herbal aroma feature... look closely at that top when the unit is opened up. the screen in there sits between 2 posts right under the vent where the smell is supposed to come out right?
why on earth is that section not sealed off from the rest of that hidden compartment? I don't want the aroma floating around in there before it escapes the unit... I would want it to vent directly out of the unit instead.
think about it. if the essential oil is being blown off that pad and out into the air, it will also gradually coat the entire inside of that hidden compartment. that's some unnecessary cleaning I will have to be doing if I plan to use this feature of the device.

Weedemon, I believe you question was satisfactorily answered, but I very much appreciate the invite to jon in. I don't believe there's much that I miss on this forum as I check in almost daily. I will make a point to reply more often. Thanks again.
i wonder about this ... i would think that halogen light bulb heater would be a pretty limited heat generator. probably far less than a nichrome coil heater (which i am familiar with) or ceramic rod heater. that is, less heat saturation into the case, and/or easy to insulate. otherwise, plastic is totally the wrong material for this application, which it obviously isn't, i guess based on their testing.
There is not alot of complaining, because there is nothing to complain about IMO. Although I would love to see it priced at least $100 cheaper, none of us are in a position to criticize sublimators pricing, without understanding their start up costs.
What you call entry level machining comparable to a cheap metal pipe, completely disregards the following facts:
--Made in Canada...just as expensive as attempting Made in USA
--Machine shop had to be equipped. That equipment doesn't come cheap
--Staff has to be hired/paid
--Building has to be purchased/leased
--Marketing/packaging costs
--Medical grade stainless steel
--Still a niche market overall
--Costs of lawyers and other legal needs (patents, etc)
....Just to name a few.I have no problems with folks talking about prices, I'd love to see them lower as well... but I bristle when someone comes along and makes it sound like "yeah, you are getting ripped off. All it is, is a few pieces of metal"...no actually, it's more than just parts when it comes to making any product...so while some guys might be making money "hand over fist" alot are not...they are just struggling to get a foothold in a competitive marketplace.

My only complaint is that I have to push vapor therapy every time I open it. I wish it would go directly to your last choice.
A nitpicky thing to complain about, but a needless step every time I want to get vaping also.
That and I really wanted it to be $500, but I'm sure that won't stop me

Marduk, the lid can be removed and the Herbalizer operated without it. Also, the plan for the future is to offer lids of different colors. With the lid removed it's only necessary to select vaportherapy or aromatherapy.
