Yes herbie will melt your face. I have one on the bar and another in the bedroom. I prefer an upgraded whip and using it with the fan assist. The bags are great for parties or just sitting back reflecting on the day. I have the steam roller and highly recommend it. The best part is max temp is 445F. You will get everything out of your flower if you want. Most vapes don't get to this temp so you can transfer that into herbie. He hits up there with the big boys as long as you have the lung capacity. Good luck.

Awesome man thank you for that. While the steamroller seems rare I'll always try to keep an eye out for one.

Was there an Upgraded Whip from the company?

@Azn2101 - This is an old post but it still rings true after a few years......IMO Best medicinal vape that ever was made and it's a shame it's no longer being made.....
*-----------------------------------------*
I'm a recreational user but my wife NEEDS the Herbie for medical reasons and I'm thankful we have it for that reason.

When severe migraine pain (Level 10 pain on a scale of 1 to 10) became a 24/7 ordeal for us I asked the resident vape Sensei, @stickstones for a recommendation. The requirements were:
- Easy to operate. When severe pain and nausea are at these levels most folks aren't going to be mechanically effective. It has to be simple to use.
- Doesn't require a lot of cleaning and is easy to clean when it does need cleaning.
- Instantaneous/on demand (A second feels like an eternity with those migraines so waiting for temp or a heat soak is out of the question).
- Has to hit like a freight train without harshness. Coughing with those migraines is torture.

I can't even count the times I've told Sticks how much we appreciated that recommendation......and still do.

It seems like it man. I feel like them getting shutdown really halted the development of Halogen tech and from what it seems the entire industry in a way.

What exactly was being infringed upon for the ceast & desist order to come down?

If this is not an allowed discussion please ignore this part.

You need to purchase tubing 1/4" id. I buy from and support delta3d. The upgrade from mfg is no good.

Yes.... and...
No...
EVO and FP both can give massive hits that extract the goodies in 1 hit.
But they can be used at lower temps for a milder session... In that area I like Herbie better.
Herbie ranks up there in time, efficiency, and modes of use.
Every vape has it's pros and cons.
I find it hardly possible to compare the units mentioned!
3 distinctly different beasts.

Prefer Herbalizer over Evo, generally. Ease of using bowl, simple twist never hot, instant heat up, make it a go to.

Perhaps different than others, I prefer the lighter, more flexible stock medical tubing. Fits easy in the machine when not in use and works great. Less stiff than other silicone tubing.

For sure, I really liked the feel of the tubing when I used it, not like that really mattered for any preformance or flavor gain lol. But it's that soft kind of silicone. I can't describe it other than it feels more silky.

@Brewervapesalot, ya I really would enjoy that 10 second H.U.T. and by no means a knock on the EVO or FP. I guess it was just kind of lore to own one as no one I knew was willing to spend or even had that kind of money and that hash bar was SUPER overpriced and I'm pretty sure no longer exists lol.

...still have my bent and straight steamrollers, have some very fond memories with my unit..

They made a bent one? That's awesome man.

After trying 2 other Halogen devices I definitely feel like the tech is the metaphorical "Last Frontier" of heating sources to be explored and I'm wondering if it's a lot more advanced (applying Halogen Technology) than what it seems. But when taking apart my MUSA it's literally only a few components and an external PID (PWM?) dial.

I think I mentioned it above but it's so weird that in my quest for the "perfect vape" i'd have to come to a "Discontinued" vape.

I think I would really enjoy an EVO as a family member owns one but that's for a different thread.

I'm just really happy they're obtainable with all the needed accessories at the moment.

Bent one? Ive got to see it. Cant wait @turk

Herbie is superb. Very happy to have found a used one in great condition. Really impressive and fun to use. Most likely ended my desktop VAS. Fan assist is so helpful to me and my lungs. If you can find one in good condition at a good deal, grab it. Woohoo #420 post for me!

I found a bargain on a bowl with extra goodies at @herbalizerrepair 's EBay store check:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Herbalizer-Bowl-Authentic-with-25-screens-Whip-Brush

Took the Dive for one from @herbalizerrepair along with all the needed accessories instead of the "Chong's Choice" Brand new listing that they wanted for the buy it now price since his are basically brand new units anyways right?

I had a question regarding the listing for the 15.90 bag option. Is it for the bags alone or does it come with a squeeze adapter too? If not is there an option from Maz for a full "Bag" set-up? If not I can use my Easy valve neck from the Volcano but it would be cool to have the actual bags that are meant to be with it. Even if they aren't the best from what I hear.

Thanks! I don't want to spend on accessories where I don't have to. Thank you @His_Highness

Sounds like we're in the same boat. The herbie is my wife's medicinal machine and it's important to her. I'm not worried too much about the whip or cool grips but I'm thinking that magnetic bowl is something worth picking up.

..read about you and your wife’s ordeal..best of luck to the both of you, happy to see the herbalizer provides her with much needed respite..this was its intended use..

Couldn't agree more. Shame the herbie isn't being made anymore. Of all our vapes it's the one we count on for speed and efficacy at a medicinal level. Being able to fill the bowl and bags that quickly is a blessing.

@herbalizerrepair:

Is the temperature on the digital read out the actual temperature of hot air entering the bowl?

I thought I remembered reading that in way earlier posts that the temp reading was higher/inflated. Someone I thought said readout was a bit low compared to preproduction models.
