The Herbalizer

I have an Epic that has been neglected since Herbie arrived. The Herbie will vape as little as you care to use. It will extract virtually all the actives if you choose to use the wide temperature band available. If anything, you might be inclined to use more simply because the Herbie is so simple and effective. The Epic is simple and effective as well, but it does not greet you when you start it up either.......

I own over a dozen log vapes.
A variety of them, all very efficient.
I can use the same tiny amount in Herbalizer.. (when I do so, I do not use the fan).
Or I can put in 3 stems worth, and just allow myself a couple dozen hits, spaced out over time.
I believe that Herbalizer is as efficient easily than any of my logs.

Funny how people get so hyped up on this one and claim even the high is better. Def not worth that much money, sad to see so much greed in this market.

I don't even have one yet (still saving up) and I know the price is not a function of greed. In this case it's R&D costs and high quality materials. Heat up time of seconds rather than minutes plus extremely accurate temp control are not cheap things to accomplish. Please do a little reading.

High is personal. I don't feel mine gets me higher...I just enjoy using it, and as a result, probably hit it more than I normally would another vape.

As to value...again, pretty personal. Lots of great options at various price points out there. This unit, is thankfully well built and backed by what seems like a good group of people. So at least if you do put down the cash, you are getting something well made in North America.

I don't think anyone is being greedy...just the cost of doing business at this point in time, I would assume. There is alot of good choice out there these days, so nobody is being forced to spend on a Herbie if they don't want to. But if they do, it's a great device indeed.

I think that the Volcano is definitely pure greed. It has yet to come down in price. I think that this machine is expensive but actually brings something new to the market. I notice too that there have been no complaints from anyone about their vape not working. Seems as though this has been a well researched and quality controlled product. The vape market is still very small and they need to recoup the costs of R&D and pay their employees. No one is in the vape market to loose money. I want one really bad, but it is out of my price range at the moment. Hopefully the price will lower, unlike the volcano and their outdated technology. Just my 2:2c:.

The doubters are right.
At the age of 62....
having been a patient for 40+ years....
and owning almost every vaporizer on the market......
I realize that it is my imagination, and merely the power of suggestion...
That Herbie gets me medicated faster and much more completely than other vapes.
How sad for me that I am forced to live under such delusion.:(
I know what to do:brow:....
I'll go Herbalize again!

I think that most that hate herbie because of it's price tag is a result of either two or three things.

One being limited knowledge of vaporization let alone vapor technology.

Anyone who's owned numerous vaporizers and has put some actual time and effort into becoming a vaporyst, they would clearly see the value in Herbie's ability and build quality to justify the price tag.

Two, there's always going to be haters. Whether it's jealousy or something else they're gonna be there. This will also play along with reason number one, limited knowledge. So far two people I've spoken with about their dislikes regarding the Herbalizer never even tried it.

What the fuck is that about? Although I was lucky enough to get help financially to afford me the opportunity to get one, I would certainly buy it again should I have to.

At one one point I felt necessary to have an entire rotation of vapes to accommodate different needs. Yes, a hefty price tag in that mind set is hard to swallow

Maybe what some don't have the capability of grasping that aside from portability the Herbalizer is one in all unit.

I guess now I should hate Bugatti cars, never had one nor could I afford one but I fucking hate em.:lol:

I always try to consider VALUE rather than the absolute price of any product. For example: I favor a certain computer manufacturer whose products are significantly more expensive than the competition. While it's slowed down a bit, I've had my laptop for 6 and a half years and have NEVER had a problem with it. EVER. Couple of guys I know are on their THIRD laptop in the same time frame. So who REALLY paid more money? Who REALLY got the better value?

I'm sorry it came out that way. My resoning is that the advantages (fast heat up, precise temp) do not back up the cost. I am not trying to flame at all, I posted late at night and english is not my native language, I was too brief which I apologise for.

My point is that take for example Arizer EQ, Da buddha or simmilar. If such gives perfectly milky clouds when you now how to pack, heat, etc, is there really room for 500$ improvement? Same goes to Volcano. I am using EQ+bong and I already have to stop myself not to cough my loungs out, why would I want more :D? I am not saying that EQ is better, not at all. I live by the rule "if it aint broken dont fix it". Especially for 700$ lulz :)

I don't get the "haters gonna hate" attitude. It's not like I hate Buggatis because I can't afford it. I know it's value. I don't see anything revolutionary in this vape. In fact, I only see some poor advertasing (NASA, yay! USA ftw!) and very poor design. I see that it vapes well. I appriciate the technology. I just dont like anything about Herbie.

Again, sorry for accidental flaming people. This thread reminds me the Volcano one so hard ;-)
I respect this community and I hope I have cleaned my name :D

EDIT: I am a tiny bit curious about Herbie marketing strategy. Tell me if I get this right. They make this development reality show on social media. Then they start with a limited edition that the most hyped up users get/buy. Hmm I wonder why there are so few complaints ;)? Small supply + hyped fanbase = not biased reviews. BTW, how loud is the noise it makes to keep the temp in place? Like how many Db?

Vape on!

Yes, there is room for improvement when dealing with those vaporizers because you have no clue what temperature you are at, except the digital volcano when used a certain way. This is important if you want a concentrated vapor with the cleanest, and strongest, effect. Being exact or close to the temperature you want will allow you to take in most of your boiled substances from your herb with very little dilution because it can allow you to have very little cloud formation. Do you understand how big this is?. No other method allows you to do this besides vaporizing. Even eating doesn't allow this since you will shit out a good amount of the herb. When done right, vaping allows you to take in SOOOOO much substances from the herb, that it is not comprehensible to most people, until they actually experience it. It may not be as fast or have thick clouds like you described but you will experience something most people in the WORLD have never experienced. And, save money since you will be using so little. With proper temperature control, you can get the effects you want as well as do experiments and know you are using the temperature you want, so there is no guessing on the equipment you are using.

Just because you see clouds doesn't mean it's potent. Yeah, the beginning of your "high" you feel something, but the overall, and length of the high, doesn't correlate with how big of a cloud you get. The cloud connection comes from ex-smokers who assume a strong cloud or a cough means potent. They are related, but not the same.

Agreed. This one is important, BUT what if you have AC running. Does it make this brilliant temp read useless, or next to useless as in any other vape? AFAIK the REAL vaping temp depends on the amount of moisture in the herb. There are many different ideas how to approach the temp display, for referance see [vaporpedia link removed due to malware]

I am sorry but this is not true. Vapor is 95% cannabinoids, and the thickness = amount of goodies you are extracting. It is a good rule of thumb to judge efficiency by the amount of vapor. I don't see why you are convicing me to vape, I do, I swear :D

Your last link is from 2004... I think a LOT has changed in 10 years in the worl of vaping.
And no metion of those big clouds you talk about in the article either...
While we are on clouds and density.... I can get totally wrecked off Herbie and not see a tiny whisp of a cloud...I must be losing my mind then... And that makes me very happy!

Here is a newer one:
http://www.truthonpot.com/2013/11/10/the-benefits-of-vaporizing-medical-cannabis/

States the same facts as yours but nothing about clouds either...
Just how efficient they are etc...

If i was you and wanted to learn more i would head on over to PAGE 1 of this thread and start reading.
Once informed come back and asked informed questions about this vape.

What i can tell you is that since the Herbie has arrived i have only used one of my other vapes and that is the Cloud. They both have different effects and medicate me effectively and to a point that helps me.

Every other vape i own has been put on hold at some point for a new arrival but i always found myself going back to my last favorite vape, which happened to be my E-Nano log vape.
All my other vapes, E-Nano included, now live in a cupboard and have not been used in a month.

No one is saying that Herbie is the BEST vape out there at the moment for everyone.
You can go to the least liked vape here and still find followers that will say it is the best one they have tried. Everyone is different about their needs and wants.
It just so happens that for users here the Herbie has almost all the bases covered for medical and recreational users.

Just my :2c:

@YetAnotherUsername For the herbalizer, the temperature reading is in the air path in front of the bulb(if I'm not mistaken) so whatever the temperature is coming past it's sensor it adjusts. The Aromed has the sensor above the bulb, so as soon as you turn on the Aromed it has a sense of what the temperature is in the room, and adjust accordingly. Since these vaporizers use a halogen bulb they can react real fast upon a subtle change in temperature which will happen based on how fast you inhale.

That study is dealing with the vapor that is going through a machine to detect what is in the vapor, not absorption of the vapor. When air is too thick, your lungs can't absorb a lot of it because it's micron size is too big, so you will either exhale most of it, or have a lot of it condense onto your lungs.

Hmm proof, source? I was under the impression that you either exhale or absorb. Condese onto lungs? Hmm.. I need to medicate, sorry, experiment more!

Anyway I think we are getting of ftopic. We will see how this machine develops. Enjoy people, enjoy what you like :)

About to try the Herbalizer with the EVO attached tomorrow. Cloud buddy arrives then so I look forward to a report. I'm a little dizzy after reading someone try and compare and EQ or a Buddha to Herbie. I guess because Herbie has a whip that makes them the same. :hmm:

I also wanted to note that the Herbalizer's low temperature abilities have helped me enormously with my diet. I haven't had any munchies at all. As expected, the Herbalizer is changing the game for me, I get more meds from less product than any other device I've seen. With a good scope or temperature range a small load can be taken through the entire spectrum of the medicinal properties found in cannabis.

I find it remarkable in the way it operates.
