Do you like the mighty better or the Herbalizer better?
Two vaporizers that I have not used, owned or even tried are the Mighty and the Crafty, so I am at a loss to make any comparison.
I tend to use desktops units more however so I would grab for the Herbalizer at home.
Perhaps one day I will try the Mighty, then I can weigh in on an educated level.
I was fortunate to meet the well known
@ChooChooCharlie yesterday, and got to try the Mighty.
And to stay on topic, he was able to see, study and bear witness to the speed and flexibility of the Herbalizer.
I can now make some comparison.
I never have minded hot vapor or hot mouthpieces, and I prefer very short vapor paths.
The Herbalizer if used with a short glass path is hot for some, but I like it, and prefer not to diffuse the vapor with long whips or steamroller (which is an excellent product by the way).
I like BOTH the Herbalizer and the Mighty for different reasons.
Herbie is set to go in ten seconds, and gets you there quick.
Mighty (and it's younger brother (as
@ChooChooCharlie calls it) is clean and cool convection taste and effect, and a very easy draw. The only drawback I saw was that it takes a minute to get to heat.
Herbalizer is all of this to me also (but faster), the drawback here being the attachment to a cord.
Every vape has a silver lining.
I can not say which I prefer.
Tell me where I am going to be and what I will be doing, then I can clearly say!
The herbie can certainly do that and
@Vitolo 's method should work well but eventually you are going to have to deal with oil dripping down into the guts of the machine. Mistakes happen.
Mistakes sure happen all of the time.
Any recommendation I made toward a way to use runny oil or ejuice hopefully implied using miniscule amounts. I use a needle and place the smallest of drops on cotton, or wicking material, so the color is still a small dot, not an infused piece of cotton or even a cotton ball with a match head sized stain on it
I place the half match head sized drop on the top.
Heat is moving in that direction, and as vapor is formed the juice/runny oil is being depleted.
Another tip in the technique is do not stop the session cold......
if you shut fan leave heater on and do hits from the whip (or whatever device is handy)
oils, and ejuice when not saturated, run from heat, so they stay well in the ball o cotton.
A good note is when done, remove the cotton ball and wipe out the chamber walls with tissue to be certain.
Using hot water you can even reclaim some goodies but it's not the best. imo the best is to use a long needle to push the reclaim out, but that's only possible if you cut your whip and use shorter piece of tubing. It's better to do that right after a session while whip is still warm.
Sublimate residue is forced by heat away from the bowl... into the tubing...
and is easily retrieved by a tool or qtip (I used a qtip)
The rest of the tube will stay dry and clean.
The residue never tried to gather closer to the "plug in juncture, due to heat.
I have been able to using HOT temps, and Fan action ... combined with inhalation and tube manipulation to gather these into one large drip.
Note.. the entire tube is clean and dry, as is the path the oils ran from closest to the connector!
Left alone this gets firm and tacky and is easily "plucked" from the tube with a tool.
If left in the tube, it will have the same exact action as BHO or wax does, on the "heat end' of the tube..
and begin to bleed "tackiness" through...
YES... wax and THC resin can permeate silicone!
