As David mentioned, just added a couple of new things to the store I think you guys will like...

EXTRA DEEP Mouthpiece
We now have a batch of hitters with the ridge that catches the screen moved down about twice as far as the standard one. This allows double the load size for those of you that wanted to be able to put a bit more in a single bowl.

We tested it for a few days and it works very well :ko:. If it's packed too tight, it can produce a bit more uneven result, but keeping it packed loosely and giving it a few little taps with the Hammer to stir the material during your session, totally even that out. I was able to get at least 8 thick hits out of a load consistently.

They come in a set of 2 with screens and a nail for $19.99.

14mm Glass-on-Glass Stem
These will fit any 14mm glass-on-glass slide so can use the Hammer with your favorite glass piece. I know several of you have already found ways to water filter with the Hammer, but this might make it a bit easier to adapt.

It's sold as a single piece and also comes with screens and a nail for $19.99.

Hi Egzoset,

The length from the bottom of the flared rim to the notch for the screen (the fill area essentially) is...

Standard Mouthpiece = 10-11mm (approx. 7/16")
Deep Mouthpiece = 19-20mm (approx. 3/4")

The diameter of the mouthpieces are...

Outside = 10mm
Inside = 8mm

The inside 8mm diameter is what is in direct contact with the heat exchanger.

We currently do not ship retail to EU directly, but one of our resellers like VaporNation (see http://www.vapornation.com/store/the-hammer-vaporizer.html) can help you I'm sure. They are currently running a special on the Hammer for $129.99.

We do plan to start shipping internationally early next year.

uh idk, I've been using my iolites and whisprs like that for a very long time. Really trying to get off analog (smoking) cigerettes.

I think the simple answer is don't do it. Far to easy to combust and you don't want to be sucking on burning cotton really.....

Iolite (and DV, HA and other vapes in that class) is fine since there's temperature control on your side. The air is never allowed to be heated past 400 or so degrees. Not so with the Hammer, TV products, Lotus, VG and so on where the heat source can get hotter than 400 and therefore heat the cotton too hot.

thanks OF the exact answer I was looking for!! What is the DV? I realize no one has one yet but Do you think the venus would be best suited for my needs? I can no longer use greenherbs due to legal troubles :[

The Hammer should actually work very well with e-cig juice, but I would not use cotton. Although combustion is unlikely, I would suggest putting a piece of very fine stainless steel wool in the glass stem. This should provide plenty of surface area to hold a few drops and will not burn.

As 'da man' suggests below, the idea is good I think, just not the cotton part. I was thinking the special pad material that the Volcano folks sell for using concentrates, basically a woven .003 inch SS wire, and 'improved steel wool pad' if you will. I've got some somewhere (I use it in HA and others with success with oils) along with some PG tincture. I'll try to get it all together and try it out for you.

So it does work, and very easily. I'm not sure it's better than the traditional units, but it does work.

I have tried putting a bit of concentrate on top of a filled stem... and it worked very well!
But concentrates are rare in my area and I havent been able to do as much testing as I would like to.

What was the consistency of the material in your test (on the SS wool)?

No, I'm not a fan of 'concentrate on bud' accidents happen that way. I used the pad from the Volcano made for the purpose like I described above....it's not 'wool', but a superior material (smooth fine wire) intended for just this use. Minimal material, nothing to fall apart or get sucked into your lungs (I don't like the idea of steel strands in the lungs, do you?).

I used quite thin oil (kind of a worst case). A drop or two 'soaks right in' when dropped off a heated needle.

Thank you... That is very helpful.

Have you tried with thicker concentrates?
Does it "vape out" of the pad cleanly... or does it become clogged after a few uses?
