I just got my hammer. Kinda sad one of the stems came broken but I'm sure Hammer will make it all good. For me there was no learning curve. I got a nice hit from the first go (thanks to all the info in this thread/ forum) and I have to say I got altered very quickly. I'm used to the MFLB, I normally need a 15 min sesh to get there but the hammer did it in only a few minutes. There was a slight taste of butane but the unit wasn't straight and I don't really mind since it was very light. I think I will only use the MFLB in low key situations and probably use The Hammer more then my DBV. Also it's "skeptical girlfriend" approved!! I'm very happy with my purches. My custom stem is awesome. I know The Hammer Vape will become as big if not bigger than the MFLB

I've used "Stok" butane in my hammer since the day i purchased it and I've never clicked more than once to start it, unless it was frozen. Yes frozen. I just pulled a fresh stem out of my pack and loaded it up. Tastes about as good as my brand new solo.
Moral of the story, i should clean my stems more!!!!!!

Just got a note from the fine folks at Hammer.
It informed me the reason my order has not shipped was because, during the 42% off sale, they sold out of the GonG stems. They will have more in tomorrow and orders will be fulfilled and shipped
I figured they got pretty cleaned out during that sale, and it was cool of them to let me know what was the delay. I am super excited!

Got the same mail. This is what I call propper customer service and communication, doesn't need more than an automated message. Seriously, when you delay an order and the customer is happy, you are doing it right.
Can't wait to get my hands on the hammer though, hope it gets to me during the next week. Love that 14mm fem GonG etc...

If you decide you wanna hook up a water tool all you need to do is add an O-ring or piece of silicone tubing to a stem. Works as well as the gong imho.Glad i didn't add anything extra it's "supposed" to be here tomorrow according to USPS
@llamaman001 I only washed the stems in iso when new just in case of any leftover shop residue and preheated the hammer for a minute the first time I fired it up. No off taste or Off gassing of any type with the hammer.

You won't be disappointed. It really adds a nice touch to the hammer. Well worth the wait if you ask meAfter vaping through water with my lotus, and using my glass for the first time in ages, I would not have it any other way- adding the GonG was a "must have" for me

Well that sucks....package just arrived but one of my stems was KIA on the way over here I guess. Split into 3 pieces, thankfully the other stem is still ok. Im about to fire her up right now but I really hope Hammer will replace the stem. I think that even though it might be a tiny bit more expensive that bubble wrap needs to placed in the stem container, not paper.

Just got a message on my phone from hammer actually. My stem broke too but they say they are sending me a new pack also Aaron states that they have changed the way they pack em. We prob got the old way of packing but I know hammer will make it right for you too

Ill write up a review soon but the main things I noticed are: Its smaller than I originally thought, Running it on 80-100% is loud IMO, about equal too or maybe a tiny bit louder than running a torch with your lotus. When I use this vape I dont feel disgusted with myself like I did with the lotus (Ive never smoked crack or meth but for some reason when I would use the lotus I just felt wrong...as if I was doing meth or crack haha) Its definitely a strange looking device to the untrained eye but I dont think Ill be getting any "look out its a crackhead" types looks with this. It feels pretty comfortable in your hand but the unit itself and the glass piece get fairly hot.
I put it on 100% and would pre warm it for about 30 seconds then hold the button while I hit it for about 10 seconds and then draw for 5 more without the button. Im getting great results that way and no burning what so ever, perfectly even light brown ABV. Im sure Ill be able to hone my tech and get darker ABV but its my first go at it and I always use mexibrick to break in vapes for the learning curve but it still tasted fairly good. Im about to try some better material and Ill try to report back with a full, but quick review.

Yes. I noticed after doing a .1 load the unit is too hot to hold at the top. I took around 5 to 6 really good rips. I like to take big ones too but I might need a little water help soon, the vapor is fairly hot but still not nearly as bad as the pnp, that thing was ridiculous

Haha, I agree. The WPA for the Lotus really helped my vape-n00b friends to learn the Lotus' technique, so I think it'll do the same for the Hammer. Really, that's probably the only reason I got the Gong, I think I will most likely stick to WPA+Lotus for glass though. It's just really fun to use IMO.
My Hammer gets here tomorrow... How's the learning curve, @SSVUN~YAH ?

Like a duck in water, my friend, like a duck in water! I'm pretty confident you will enjoy! The only problem I can see is it gets warm, very warm. You can use this vape so many ways. I've put it from mid to high on the flame control with great success! Already had to refill it, mine came filled with lock and gasket attached. I love the wpa, heating it up for a bit then applying to any pipe with ease! It reminds me of a BBQ utensil but it's a vaporists utensil and a good one at that! Instant gratification with and without h20 I wish I would have listened to @paytonpenn earlier b/c it's worth it at $120!! This deal is a steal, thanks Hammer I'm thoroughly impressed!!!
