Also, do you have a GonG adapter made for male joints? I've got a direct inject oil rig that I run my vapes through is why I'm asking.
Question: Scral is using his stem on the opposite side of what I thought was the heat port. I wondered early on if you could use either side, but it felt as if the heat generated better from the side opposite the thumb trigger.
Is either side usable with similar or the same results?
First night using my Hammer, decided to go with the 14mm gong attachment; probably not the wisest choice for my first time. I got the FATTEST first rip out of my Liquid Sci tube, but soon realized I combusted about half my bowl . I'm going to load up my stem and see if I can control it better.
I refilled the tank once and it seems like a single can of butane is going to refill it many times. The ability to run out of fuel/power is always going to be a drawback, but one tank lasted long enough bowls to make me quite happy (I forgot to count). Also, it refilled in about 2 seconds. Find some batteries that do that...
The whole kit is really well thought out, simple, and clever. Cool design. I'm really happy with the Hammer.
I can NOT stop staring at that slyme stem. So pretty!
With the new Lock-On Kit installed, you can actually use one side with the lock-on stems and still use the other side with the standard stems.
Damn. I'ma gettin' the fever for this one. That irrestible pull.Just had my first great session with the Hammer; well great sessionS. Just like that, my opinion has completely changed. I used my longer stem, heated the vape up for about 20-30 seconds, and then got four slow draws worth of tasty vapor.
I really think this thing is going to take the crown for my backup vape; something I can whip out when I don't have access to a wall charger or external battery. I'd MUCHH rather use this than my MFLB on the go. I feel like the vapor quality you get from this thing is just incredible. I completely understand how someone in a previous post said this thing is great for "sampling" your herb. You get the full, rich flavor, and a nice thick cloud of vapor.
If you're wanting something that holds a lot of material, move along.. this has a smaller load capacity... regardless of what stem you're using... but god damn, this thing is awesome.

I prefer 8 miles high. And it's tested to 10,000 feet....in case from time to time you get that high.
Or think you might?

Did you use it stock or with some of the upgrades? Have you tried other butane vapes and if so how does it compare in terms of getting that full flavor?
Sorry I meant other lighter based vapes like the genie.I have the silicone upgrade that helps the bowl stay in place... which i'd recommend highly. But other than that, I was just using the regular stem. I have a TON of accessories for it, which I'll show and demonstrate in my video review in the next week or two.... but I'm really impressed. I haven't used an iolite, for the simple fact that they tend to have mixed reviews on how long they last... as long as this thing holds up... i'll have no need to try another.
Side note: I cannot believe one just went for $50 in the classifieds, and I'm highly debating picking up the wig-wag custom stem from that website. I love my slyme one, but a little variety would also be nice to add to the collection.

It's not really a stealth device.
There are many here (myself included) who take issue with equating visible cloud size and effectiveness. You may not be able to conceal the Hammer as easily as an LB...
But there is nothing discreet about dense, billowing clouds of vapor
The sheer effectiveness of the Hammer kind of throws stealth out the window...
NO MORE wispy HITS

I'm still itching for one of these… The design is too neat to pass up!
I prefer low temperature vapour myself—which you can get from the Hammer with a little technique. I don't like clouds because they're hotter and harsher and not as tasty.
As far as I'm concerned the only place for clouds is filling bags or milking a bong.
I have an obvious bias towards glass... But because the Hammer can travel so far from civilization, it is becoming very clear that an indestructible stem is needed. I hope to have a solution very soon. You can make it more rugged though. What about offering unbreakable stems?
Please forgive me if this has been covered. I think I've read through the whole thread but could have skimmed over this topic. In fact, the new lock on stem really lends itself to the slow and low technique that pakalolo prefers. You just lock it on and draw on the stem (like sipping from a straw). This way you can take your time and creep up on the perfect temperature. Keep taking little sips until it feels just right
