I really do hope that actually happens, but you might want to not depend upon it. But good things come to those who wait.

I upgraded my second / back-up unit (ss) to a Ti yesterday. They said there would be no (more) changes to my shipping date by doing so.

Now I want waffles.
yeah as in the upgrading to a different unit will not cause any change to your shipping date, not that your shipping date won't change for other(or no) reasons :p or I would imagine thats what they meant

But they're also quick with refunds. When I sent an email requesting to cancel my SS Case, Caroline got back to me literally within 5 minutes that it was done... checked my PayPal and there it was. Fastest refund I ever got from an online purchase.
That's good to know, Peace. Hopper is probably in crisis mode and the last problem they would want is a customer refund issue.
But it would certainly be nice to get a friggin' response to a question about delivery... And I just wanna KNOW. I have my Pax2 and she's a beautiful thing (yes, mine is female :brow:), so I'm not gonna go apeshit if they say they'll be 3 months late or whatever. I even said "this will not affect my interest in the GH". It's just GFBS.... Good Business Sense. Harumph.

The website has your "estimated" ship date. You really think Hopper Labs is going to give you different information that what is listed on there? Quit wasting their time. If you are impatient, cancel your order and let the rest move up the line. You can always re-order once they have stock at full retail price.

And their "estimates" so far have been about as reliable as an airplane in a snow storm.

If you want to talk about people wasting people's time, maybe you should talk to hopper labs who still has people's money that CAN'T get refunds from as long as two years ago.

Are folks having a hard time getting their money refunded if they request it? I hope that's not the case.

If you want to talk about people wasting peoples time, maybe you should talk to hopper labs who still has people's money that CAN'T get refunds from as long as two years ago.

As mentioned many times before, if you backed them on IGG you took the risk that you may never receive anything at all. That is how crowdfunding works.

Could you explain how have hopper labs have wasted your time? Is it due to the extra amount of time spent complaining about them on FC?

They haven't. I went into it knowing they were an awful company who lies every single month. But other people who backed two years ago didn't know they were liars at the time they backed. They fully expected to receive their hoppers two years ago.

I ordered in July, and I'm not complaining.

OK, I just can't hit the backspace any longer....
The estimated ship DATE is an estimated ship MONTH. I only asked if they are closer to a DATE , or are at least on schedule. Why do I ask? Because I like to be a fucking impatient pest.

And why should they answer me? Here's why....

Me: Hey I just got this new Vaporizer, it's cool, it's great, it's awesome.
Person looking to buy a vape (PLBV): Really! Where'd you get it?
Me: From this company that sucks in communication.
PLBV: Oh fuck that.

...I believe that he is going to be waiting 21 months from his order date in Dec'13...and that is only if the new, new, new "Estimated ship date of September 2015 actually holds up...

...seems closer to the term for an elephant pregnancy...

I received my "refund" the day after I requested it, no problems, but for other international orderers out there, it's a deposit of the amount you paid.. So it's not returned to the account you paid from, and it costs PayPal fees to get the money converted and available again. If they had refunded the actual transaction, it would have been returned without any fees. Luckily the Aussie dollar sucks even more now.. I might break even.

Don't think so but AFAIK backers can't get refunds at all only pre orders.

Read on reddit about a backer with a sob story about being broke, and Trevor refunded them.
But yeah, in general, no refunds for backers...

Actually what he said was that Trevor told him that backers couldn't get refunds, so he sent him back the amount he backed, but didn't cancel his Grasshopper order.

Something to think about the next time you read a post about what dishonest scum they are.

I certainly understand that people are frustrated by the delays and problems, but it seems to me that they are doing the best they can. No doubt they bit off more than they could chew, but they are still chewing - hope they can swallow soon!

hmm... thats an odd conversation to have O.o if you have a great vape you are initiating a conversation about wouldn't you just straight up say "Grasshopper Labs"? instead.

and as frustrating as it is, as said before if they were closer to knowing dates they would go out for individual orders, they would most likely have a better shipping estimator in place like they planned on doing. It seems the only reason they haven't implemented it(assuming the coding and such is ready and just needs to get implemented) is they don't know, they are just hoping they can get them out within the months stated. Its not a question of "should they", but "can they" give you a better date... answer seems like a big No and will be such for a while
