I know, I feel like that could be a real problem, along with the email filter issue. I run a search for "grasshopper" in there once a week or so, just in case, but now I'll just keep an eye on my order status. I am moving at the end of this month, and may be without internet access for some time, right when mine is supposedly due to ship. I asked if I could "preconfirm" an alternate address so it doesn't hang in limbo and I get delayed another month. Trevor just gave me the copy/paste about no longer manually updating addresses and that nothing will be shipped until the confirmation response is submitted.
I asked if there was a possibility mine would ship in July as stated and he just didn't bother to respond. I'd love to have it in hand, but at this point I fully expect the confirmation note to arrive 45 seconds after we roll out for another state.


I wonder if anyone's seeing "offgassing" now that they're handling the screens, and presumably other parts, with gloves?

Lol, hey now - ramping up mass production often means you find easier ways to assemble/manufacture key parts.

Sometimes it's easy for the designer to assemble and build his invention, but harder for new employees to copy the process. These new tools could be necessary to ensure more people can build/assemble the vapes with less training/practice.

Just ask @Dan Morrison how much time he's spent making tools to build his (fucking gorgeous) Okin vaporizer

Goes back to quality control. Systems and templates are great for creating consistency. And that's what we want...for EVERY gh to be flawless.

Are folks actually getting a notice of shipment or only an address confirmation email? I got the latter on Tuesday for my 11/14/13 Early Bird SS hopper, but no notice of shipment yet.

I get that, still would have thought more have been shipped by now but I understand.

They never said they'd do that, they said they'd be "on track". I'm not sure, but I think they followed it with a ;)

Actually they didn't suggest a thousand per week but thousands!
"We’re on-target to be producing thousands of units per week by the end of July." To be fair, they do have another week or two to hit that target -- however unlikely.:rolleyes:

...and just think...all of those boxes within the boxes and also all of the boxes holding those boxes within, were shipped in the box hold of a ship from China and then transported possibly in the box hold of a train and then moved to the trailer (box) of a tractor-trailer...

...it's enough to cause multiple box-gasms!

I have no doubt that the folks at GH has been reading a bit off of online cannabis communities such as FC. After all Mike was posting on the GH thread until last fall 2014, haven't heard anything on FC from him since last Oct. I'm sure he's a busy man these days.

I'm just surprised that some of the FC folks that have had their orders in for some time haven't received their Hoppers yet?

Wishing everybody a speedy delivery with very few faulty units. I don't want a vaporizer that burns your product because the heating element is too close to the oven. There's a video in the Grasshopper thread that gives me reason to be concerned.

To be fair they have to get done with the 100+ Holiday backers, and I am still about 40 in line after that, that said it means not even 200 have been shipped yet no? Little disappointing based on the thousands estimate by about now.
