Hi Everyone,
This is a quick update to cover a few important things. First, we are working very hard to get everyone their Grasshoppers as soon as possible. For the most part, shipping has gone smoothly. A few backers have experienced an issue but some of that is to be expected with a new product. We've already tracked down the problem, fixed it and replaced the units for those backers.
There's a lot going on around here so we apologize for any slow customer service responses. We'll get to every message, but it might take a few more days than normal. In the meantime, here are some answers to commonly asked questions.
Shipping address confirmations will be sent out 1-5 days before your order is shipped. When you receive the confirmation you'll be given the opportunity to update your address at that time. This is the best way to avoid updating your address multiple times. You may still email an address change to support@grasshoppervape.com but we will not update it on the website immediately to avoid spending unnecessary time changing addresses.
You may add accessories to your order at any time before shipping. The process for this is to create a new order using your same account. If you have an open order you will not be charged any additional shipping and the items will all go out together. This will not cause any delay with your order.
The campaign accessories are in the works. We now have stock of the leather sleeve and the Stainless Case for immediate shipping. The Ti Case, Water Pipe Adapter, and Oils-end are all still in the works. If you contributed for these items, your order will ship without them and they will be delivered at a later date. Our current priority is shipping Grasshoppers and we will be getting many more units out this month.
We hope everyone who has received a unit is enjoying it and we'd love to hear your feedback.

Well, the good news is that they have the SS cases ( I think they look really good - love the "G" monogram ) ready to ship.

Just cause they didn't use the word "delay" doesn't mean things are not still delayed. As far as anyone knows, still less than a dozen people out of all the FC and reddit backers have even received the address conformation email.
Are they still "on target to produce thousands of units per week by the end of July" like they claimed 2 weeks ago? That's all I want to know....

hmm 3 months ago... possibly a pre-production, too early for a refurb... maybe another V.9 that I posted about awhile ago how they were sending those units to reviewers or whatnot so makes sense for them to wanna get them out to shops to try and convince them to order bulk amounts to sell in their stores

still no email confirmations since the update? At this point, if they get all the Holiday and early bird backers out by end of July I'd be shocked. I really don't understand what is happening at HL, was hoping the update would be a little more clear. They have all these hoppers assembled and just sitting around? Surely they have a few ready to be shipped out. At this point I want to fly all the way to Colorado just to pick it up myself, maybe I'll get lucky if I come with a 12 pack of brews.

I think everyone should post the reason why they think their not shipping, because they clearly arent!
I think theyre having problems with the heater supply. What else could it be? All it would take is a reply to one of the threads here. For some reason they refuse to interact with their customer base which I not only find really fucking annoying but also rather worrying. I know youre reading this GH Labs. Sort your PR out!

I believe that a few usps people are to blame. Jealous of our vaporizers, they recognize the beautiful box work immediately and take it to their grasshopper dissection lab, where they continue to sabotage any chance of us all having these before 2016... that and they don't want to deliver on Saturdays! Wtf

Man, this is frustrating! A little while ago I was chomping at the bit to get my shipping notice ( estimated July shipping date) - now I'm hoping that they don't ship to me before they solve all the problems!
Seems like everyone with a working unit thinks it's even better than the "too good to be true" specs that we were promised. Kind of like the old poem - "When she was good, she was very, very good, and when she was bad the damn LEDs keep blinking red and blue!"

It seems like their rate of shipping is virtually non-existent so I would not worry about it. Pre-orders will probably get theirs around Oct. or Nov. by then the problem will be fixed or the company will be out of business with all the broken units.

I think it's smart that the rep from GH doesn't come on the thread. I would imagine that he or she would be verbally attacked. I've seen this elsewhere on FC. Members got so upset over their vaporizer not working properly that the rep quit coming on FC. Members would say something insulting towards the company and it would go on from there.
I wish these new vaporizer companies would quit even putting dates out. That date passes and nothing. Then they get everybody excited about another date, something happens and they have to explain away what has delayed the vaporizer. Under pressure the company is in the awkward position of putting a vaporizer out before it is ready for prime time. I'm not saying that this is what has happened in this case, because I don't know. IMO that happened with the Ascent by Davinci.
When Arizer came out with the Air, we didn't hear much about it until it was released. I understand it was different with the GH because the company needed backers and they needed to pre sell the units so the company would have funding. Often if you pre sell a product you need to put out a date that the customer can plan on receiving said product.
Some of you if you are able, find another vaporizer that is readily available to buy if you are in need to fuckcombustion. The GH can always be vaporizer number 2.

By virtue of how they raised money that would kind of be impossible but I did love the way the Air hit the market, it is a really great product but of course they have all kinds of previous experience.
The frustration with GHLabs seems to be that they keep talking about things like the product is ready for shipping (even their update post in July of 2014) but that is not what is happening. Honestly if they said we are having QC issues and are pushing back shipping for everyone by 2 months, I would be fine with that.

Just curious how many people have fairly high expectations for the coming week, even if its an update to say what's going on? With so many July dates, I find it hard to believe they would get to it all on the back 9..
I can wait a little longer. Frustrating? A little. End of my world? Nope, still get high, sleep just fine.

Just to clarify; Im a 37yr old male, I have bundles of patience, I can wait, tbh I wouldnt care if they said "sorry we fucked up and cant deliver because (insert here)". At least then I can just forget this ever happened. Its the total lack of real communication that pisses me off!
