When do you think the first Grasshoppers (in BOXES!) will ship?

I was too late to edit the above statement. I was going out the door before I posted that.

What I wanted to say. Companies can do business the way they want. I had typed "can't". We are not forced to buy from them. If you are unhappy cancel your order and wait to order after they become readily available. All the bug will get worked out by then. You can buy through your fav online retailer.

Sometimes when we get so angry over something, it's good to step back and take a breath. Is it really worth the stress. I myself have no patience when waiting for something so I didn't order yet.

I hope they get the shipping thing figured out soon I'm wanting my hopper for my B-Day and Bonnaroo June 9 through12 going to be great but would be better if I have my hopper to :rockon:

it is very quiet everywhere. no shipping confirmations in any vape forum. so i wouldn't rise a high hopes for HopperLabs to meet their new "realistic" estimates.

I noticed that too. I like to imagine that they are hard at work, toiling away until they build one or two thousand units and then they will switch over to shipping mode and start making mass shipments. Considering that they have a relatively small staff this idea might not be too far-fetched.

I preordered September 2015, and have a currently estimated June shipping date. So perhaps I am biased with my prediction, and it is simply wishful thinking.

rumor has it that they are producing Hoppers at full power, but they have been let down by producer who make chargers for them. i want to believe that a massive shipping is about to happen when they receive those chargers.

:D i actually suggested the same few pages back in this thread. i wouldn't mind Hopper without charger ether, if i can get it NOW. but i bought Xtar VC2 for Hopper though. like that fancy LCD display showing V and mAh for each battery.

actually. i think that there is one cool thing to do in this thread while here are silence of shipping reports. how about posting a pictures here of all the accessories stuff that people have bought while waiting for a Hopper??? i think that it would be awesome.

me myself have bought. MFLB glass stem, an Arizer Solo bubbler stem, Xtar charger, Jyarz herb container, grinder for a course grinding, 2A wall USB adapter, a cigar tube to be used as a case and still waiting for a measurement spoons for easy filling. so i cant post a full picture jet. :bang:

No one knows for sure!
Although there is an option sporadically to purchase from UK supplier Vapefiend, the ones from Hopper Labs (still in 'pre-order' phase, though shipping) have been seriously long-term orders. They have well over a year's backlog.

At the moment, they are 16 months behind in order fulfillment. The last shipped hopper seen here or on reddit was ordered Jan 18th 2015, shipped April 8th 2016. No shipping confirmations have gone out since then (a fair number of address confirmations have come in). This discussion probably belongs in the shipping thread, though.

I think it is safe to say that not one Grasshopper has ever shipped on its originally projected schedule.

My preorder from Aug 2 '15 was first projected to ship in Sept. '15.
Sept. became November, then January '16, then March, then May and now, with HL's new commitment to a more reliable prediction system, I can 'expect' my Hopper to ship in June. In my mind, this is very much in question, since shipments seem to have slowed to a trickle lately.

@Omphaloskeptic 's statistic is sobering. Makes me wonder how many of those printed circuit boards (that cool video!) are piling up around the ol' hopper plant. Five weeks (since April 8) is a long time to wait for some chargers to come in...

btw, the pattern lately has been two updates per month. will there be a mid-May update?

They probably found out what a pain it is to track these separately to make sure everyone gets a complete kit. They already have separate shipping pending for the ss case and other accessories that may or may not get made.

It is fucking insane Hopper labs does not keep a blog or a press release just to give the community a little "fat to chew on" ... I way obsess with this vape and going to get torn apart when they delay me again in August and mind you I only been waiting since March 2016 :wave:

I want to jump on board with the GH but am wondering if anyone out there can actually vouch for its worthiness based on the ungodly neverlandish wait times. Are the hits really that thick and potent?

Does it smell like say the pax when hot?
Is it easy to load unload?
Cleaning easy?

Just seems crazy to have to wait so long but if it's worth it its worth it..

At this stage of the game, I think it's in your best interest to stay on the sidelines until the backlog at least shows signs of clearing. HL is 16 months behind on orders, and hasn't shipped a unit since the beginning of April. Keep your money in your pocket until they catch up (if they catch up).

Watch what they do, not what they say. If I conceived a child on the same day I ordered my hopper, guess which one I'd be holding right now!

Lol is it easy to cancell the order?Ill wait a few month after theyre ETA if it does not get shippe a few month after ill try to cancell as im happy with my crafty/volcano combo, just ordered this one as a backup, or alternative to the crafty....the pax2 might do it as well...i ll give em some time...thanks for replying anyway!

Yes, the refund process is as easy as sending an email.... But if you're only giving them a couple months of wiggle room, go ahead and do it now! I ordered mine 15 months ago!!! I'd guess Aug of '17 for your delivery estimate
