This is a VERY positive update from Hopper Labs in my opinion. It shows that they've been listening and that they're finally willing to step up their communication with customers. I think if they continue along this track it will alleviate a lot of the frustration and anguish out there.

My shipping date was changed from March to April recently, I'm just hoping its not too far adrift from that with the forthcoming update

Boys and Girls, it pays to bitch. I do believe that GHL has browsed the postings of laments and complaints about how they've gone about dealing with these delays and have made the wise decision of being a bit more transparent. There, doesn't that feel better, GHL? We don't hate you for being more up-front.

So I fully expect they'll push me out yet a couple of more months. And that will hopefully be the last estimate.

I had to laugh at the line about how they're stopping add-ons because it makes new first-time orders get even longer delays... OH so now it's OUR fault!? :shrug::rofl:

I love my Pax2.

They were reported to Paypal for shipping inaccuracies. Redit had many customers reporting the HL shipping time was much longer than the alotted 2 months.

i told them this in a multiple e-mails. it is not like that was unfair only for us. allowing to add more units also hurt them. many preorderers canceled their order and added it to their friend order which is higher in da line. only now they realized what i'm saying. better late then never.

I don't see how they are saying that at all...the wait was going to be the wait no matter what, now they will hopefully be more accurate (honest) in their estimates, so we can know when to expect the order. Also, blaming PayPal reporting is speculative, though very possible.

I got a Ti on the last restock, I had to refresh until it was in stock, and had already created an account so all I had to do was click checkout. I recommend creating an account and signing in about 2 minutes prior to release next time. It seems they restock about once a month and right around the middle of the month. If I remember right, it was the 15th of March

I'm gonna take this April update at face value. Genuine apologies are tendered, real numbers revealed, and we have a glimpse into the plant with comments by the designers/founders. Real people!

Very pleased, and looking fwd to a new, more meaningful ship date, but more important, I can see a more meaningful relationship with this company that I may be joined to for quite some time.

The whole project is finding a truthier, more human voice, and I'm feeling happy and relieved.

Right now, even the 16 weeks max. projection has appeal. And my order falls chronologically about in the middle (early Aug '15).

I'm beginning to salivape. Ha!

Yeah I don't have any. Combusting like crazy :freak:. Although I had Iolite 5-6 years ago, but didn't like it much. Instead of GH I've ordered VapCap, which should come much quicker and stop my insane behaviour :lol:.

I'll be back to GH in a year or two maybe, when everything settles down.

I don't know about anyone else, but IMHO I would now, knowing what I know, prefer to get my hopper when GHL ships it to me rather than through the disties. Reason, I want one that to the best reasonable extent has had all the bugs worked out. It's kind of good that batches, or 'lots' as they are called, go out to these guys who resell. These lots represent the 'most up to date' mods to their manufacturing process and operations.

At least that's what I tell myself in order to reduce the number of hissy fits I'll have waiting :razz:

I dont know about the preorder paypal thing. I think there are some infos missing somewhere. I mean, its a kickstarter project. There must be a whole bunch of those that are later than 2 months. I think it doesnt apply to those. Or maybe, they must have a quick refund process to cover up the fact its later than 2 months. Or maybe?

I love what I read in the last update. Facts delivered, appologies. It feels more and more real to get it!!! My 2016jan order is estimated in may2016. I will be happy if I get it this summer though

God I feel like some kinda guy that's just cheated on the big exam. I just got email that my VapeFiend SS GH is on the way from UK. I now have to be the big kid that ask of you could now tell me how good you think you did on test so I will know in turn how good my grade will be :science:, (how long do you think my delivery will take to get from UK to Tennessee) I payed extra for TNT shipping lol.

yeah I am really hope they update my estimate this week but I am a bit scared also about that update

well, you will get it faster than most of us who wait for HopperLabs pre-orders. :nod: that is for sure.

i don't know about TNT shipping, but regular postage usually goes about 2 weeks trans-Atlantic. so, i would bet that you will get it towards dee end of next week.

please let me know if my guess was right...

Mine was 11 days in transit to TN, I had to email Vapefiend for my tracking number.

It took about 10 days from order to delivery to Chicago for me, most of that was in customs. I had to request a tracking number too, but they answered my email right away. Congrats and enjoy!

Thanks for the info guys (& Gals if there are any) I have been on FB messenger with a specialist and he gave me my tracking #. Since I payed the extra 35$ they sent it via FedEx 4/15/16 Friday. My delivery date is 4/18/16 Monday ( no later than 4:30pm ).

My ship date has changed again, since the April Shipping Update. Two weeks ago my date was moved to May. Now looks like the new system for estimating is in place, at least on my paperwork.

pre-order 0xAug '15:
  • Original estimated ship date: September 2015

  • Estimated ship date: June 2016
This makes the outside timing for my pre-order 11 weeks from now. Longest projection yet; they've always been "2 months" like the movie The Money Pit. "How long's that new kitchen gonna take?" "'Bout, two weeks..."

But now, I have been newly encouraged so I can and will count the weeks while basking in the warm glow of anticipation. And I do like the information presented as a more confident 11 weeks-or-so than the old, "'Bout, two months..."
