There was also this video uploaded on youtube by nugporn who seem to be a credible source.

But doing a google search brings up nothing and I'm a little worried that all of this is a little to good to be true. Does anyone have any experience with it or know where to find any more info? Thanks

Yeah I have really high hopes for it but I can't see myself buying it unless there's a legit review. I mean with almost 8,000 members alone, it should be anytime now before someone takes the plunge. Hopefully they see this.

hi dudes - so i have a lot of experience with vaporizers and i figured i'd weigh in.
this thing is fucking great for concentrates, but doesn't work for flowers. there is a little coil that gets red hot and acts like a skillet or titanium nail would for hash.

the first g-tank i got already had hash oil in it as a 'deal' from the dispensary. it sizzled like hell and i thought it might be the gpen's fault, until i realized that it was just shitty hash oil with a lot of butane left in it. lameee... but i ordered a new one from their site and used only high quality earwax/budder in it and it smells great and works like a charm. my only complaint is the hole that you draw the vapor through is real tiny, so you have to pull for a long time to get a big hit.

i'd say check them out. there are a ton of places that are starting to sell them here...

After seeing that video and reading comments like 19millionac's, I decided to take the plunge and ordered one online today. I guess my friend found a place nearby that sells them and he's going to get one today. I'm sure I won't be disappointed and thanks again to everyone for the advice and suggestions.

I have had the honor of meeting two buyers of the G Pen yesterday. I am happy your experiences with the unit are MUCH more positive than these two community members. They will be here later today to show and tell me more. I am most anxious to try this!

yeah that's fair, i'm definitely not a shill though - just a fellow mmj patient weighing in. definitely try it out and see what you think. i was looking for info on the pen here before i bought it (i've been lurking for years) and thought i'd give you guys a heads up after i tried/purchased one.

other vaporizers i've owned (in order) - vapir one (terrible), phantom (not worth it, poorly made), volcano classic (the best), mflb (awesome for flowers on the go once you hone it in and figure out how to get solid hits without combustion), and now this pen.

what were their complaints out of curiosity? i've been using mine a little different than most, just putting a dab on the coil that heats up rather than oil in the "tank" or whatever they call it and it's been working great. my only hesitation with the unit as far as the parts are concerned is the wick itself singeing the first few uses, but that seems to stop after the part under the coil goes brown for some reason. i dunno.

Watching that video, I wondered if these guys have ever seen the Omicron. They seemed so taken with the idea of this pen, yet there were clearly similarities to the Omicron. The style, the battery shut off, the fact that it's a load your own concentrate vape pen, the links V provided, etc.
Is it me or did they seem like this was their first encounter with a concentrate vape pen?
Or was the Omicron what they were referring to regarding difficulty loading? Not sure if putting a full g into a fill cup and heating with a lighter is that much more trouble than inserting dabs with a skillet tool, but I am open.
Wanna love it, always interested in the latest greatest, just not sure on this one yet.

A local patient/friend ordered the GPen ($100) and one extra GTank ($25). He was going to have the shipping expedited, but missed the option when having the chance during checkout. He sent them an email explaining that and they were actually courteous enough to overnight his package for him at no cost. Good start... Ok, so 2 days later, He got the package in the mail and opened it up. Everything was there except his second tank, so he sent them an email regarding that.

He went ahead and loaded up some wax into the tank and tried out the product.. there was somewhat of an odd/sweet smell and taste of the vapor released... He was not sure if it was the wax I put in or what... So after 10 hits he decided to try putting some actual honey oil into it. He did try to load the GTank with oil, like the instructions indicate but the oil touched the wick inside the tank. When trying to remove the tool to fill the tank, the oil stuck to the wick and ripped it out. His first tank was rendered useless. It should not be so easy to break a $25 cartridge, just by loading it like they suggest.

He ordered another tank so I could try it.
It was my turn now.
He received his second tank and brought it to my house today.
Before I put any concentrate into it, I decided to plug it into the Ecig and make sure it worked... It heated up fine, but produced the smell and vapor that my friend had told me of, with nothing loaded into it.
I decided not to risk any of my oils in it.
At this point, I am unsure of the product. I tasted my friends other cart, and the oil in it tasted VERY different than the same exact oil in another device I use, and off of a Ti nail.. He asked the company about their wick, what it was made of, what was the smell and vapor given off by an empty tank, etc. They have yet to respond.

Could it be a PG coating put on the element during production? I think that in the ecig world some attys come soaked already with PG to stop them drying out between manufacturer and consumer. I'm clueless on the heater- seems this is like an ecig? Certainly from an ecig factory I reckon, maybe it's how they do things?

But yeah, you don't want to vape a mystery substance. It could equally be something horrid.

Hey Grencoscience you should show some science on the elements and materials used.. + durability test + some proof that your oil cart won't give off anything at the used temps. And plz let some serious vaporist taste the vapor before you sell some1 25 $ cart that is plastic (for the price of two cars i will get a REV.. ) . We won't no combusters opinions on taste around here .. Anything vaporized tastes better than combustion IMO.
Heating to red coil + plastic cart is a disaster recipe i think ...

that's what I was talking about re: the wick. i think it works well and haven't noticed any headaches or anything as a result of using it pretty consistently for three weeks now. it definitely does taste different than the titanium nail route though. again, the way i've been doing it is just packing some earwax/budder down into the coil area. if the hash i'm using has melted down and i hit it, it does taste different too (from the oil coming up from the wick).

the tank definitely is easy to break. i agree with you on that. does anyone know if the 5 dollar ones linked above work with the g-pen?

as far as the plastic housing goes, it doesn't seem to get close enough to the coil to really heat up much at all, the coil is in what appears to be a ceramic...thingy... you'd guys know better than i though.

any alternatives for concentrates on the go that I should check out?

I think its total garbage. I have never been more upset than I am right now with the same exact experience. I do not know what chemicals I was possibly inhaling, but I feel completely violated. I am a legal medical user and this is completely unacceptable. Just in my circle of friends I can think of well over a $1000 you will not be receiving. Swindle Pen.

I own one... don't buy it. I've owned a good number of high end vapes: VHW, Volcano, SSV, Iolite, WISPR, MFLB, and my current lineup of the VapeXhale Cloud and Arizer Solo. The G-Pen? Well, I bought one from my usual dispensary figuring what the hell, $80 for a vaporizer I can take literally anywhere without doubt, might as well try it. At first I really liked it - loaded a cartridge up with a gram of LPK Delta-9, pressed the little button 5 times quick to unlock, and took some nice rips. There was a slight sweetness to the hits, but I didn't question it too much. So I continued to use it for about a week and a half until I realized something odd: the G-Pen was producing big hits, but I wasn't getting high. I was just getting dizzy. That's when I decided to look at this puppy a bit more closely. It turns out that the wax wick inside the cartridge burns and releases something, because I was inhaling it and it wasn't making me feel too well. Then for good measure I took it back to the club and along with the budtenders, we opened up some new G-Pens and tried running them with empty cartridges. Sure enough, the same thing. I don't know about everyone else, but inhaling some random something with every hit is FAR from satisfactory for me. I'll stick to some vaporizers that only vaporizer the herb I put in it.
