The hardest part is deciding on the wood. I was thinking cherry too, because my Junior is maple (spalted) and my OG is Walnut.

For me, it was an extended family decision........I have a cherry version of all of my wood vapes except for the UD's and my single MVT. It's turned out to be a nice wood for vapes....nice grain and texture, with interesting variations in my pieces. I'm patiently searching for a piece of turnable premium cherry to rectify the missing UD issue. I got 99 problems, but vape choices ain't one of 'em

I'm the opposite of you. Each of my vapes is a different type of wood. Technically I don't have anything in rock maple but I do have a spalted maple Junior and a fiddleback maple log so I didn't want another maple, at least not yet.

A small hairline crack in my original intake and a jumpy torch accounted for ALL my issues. Of course there was still a learning curve but damn, I love this thing now. It's daily, and I've even started to enjoy throwing a couple dabs on top of my flower bed. Straight vapor rips.....

Gonna get busy in here with all these new Flip owners. 
Now I have to get a mouthpiece smaller than my j-hook for taking this traveling.
Anybody know if the stems for Milania or Tubo Evic fit where the gong piece is on the Flip Brick? I have a bent stem coming with my tubo and if that stem could work as a mouthpiece for the Flip that would kick huge ass.

The gong is 18mm and the stems are 28 mm

i have a Maxx and the silicone whip tubing can be quite cumbersome when using with a smaller lighter WP. You gotta be careful not to let it tip over your piece when you set it down after taking the hit.
This is why I went and ordered a Flip brick and will post the differences when I get the chance

@SloJimFizz had me try the tubobent stem 18mm male MP again. the first time i tried it, it didnt work, but I got it to work with no leaks this time.
w all 3 orings it's a pretty tight fit but it works if you push a little bit using the rim around the outside of where the joint is. Sweet, thanks mr fizz!

Really loving the Flip. Dry, or on water. Once you get it dialed in, your left wanting another one.Splalted or Maple SB jr. Both have been in the cart, no trigger pull yet though.
How did I never realize my stirrer can stick to the side?

Cherry Flip Brick arrived this noontime.......first bowl very nice, definitely will take a few sessions to dial it in. EDIT: change that from first bowl very nice to Holy Fuck I'm Ripped!Well, that did it......cherry Flip Brick on the way
And wow, this thing is tiny1! And a fantastically clever little design offshoot from its older siblings.
