We’re making the switch to borosilicate for our carts on future iterations of our prefill pods.
The current cart material was chosen based on its inert qualities but I’m with you, bring on the boro.
I’ll note this to our team rn
Thanks for the observation and here's how it works. The laser heats a a localized ceramic "black body substrate" target as described in the patent. There is no oven to heat which is also why its so power efficient. The light is transfered to heat and the temp is governed by the target ceramic keeping it at an ideal temperature giving a full size low temp rip. The pod never heats or form contaminant flavors like typical carts. Tastes green til the end. The core with the target ceramic is easily soaked in alcohol to clean and no need to ever replace. The point of using laser light allows us to remove any metal components that could cause contaminating reactions with the terps and off flavors. Pure light on ceramic makes for a tasty and efficient heat source without the need to replace components. The ramp up is near instant so there's no heat up time that can cause the volatile terps to evaporate 1st. The device has a 10 year warrantee so any issues will be resolved.
Our latest iteration is far advanced than our og 1st gen units we released in 2021 has much more vapor output and way easier to use. If there are any early adopters with our old units reading this, please contact me about an upgrade.
