I haven't been able to achieve clouds like that yet, I'm rushing home to try it the blazing Og way!

You and me both. I went with 450 last night for the entire session, which is way above where I want to be with regard to effect and taste. I was not able to get anything like that.

OG...you're in charge of the user manual. get that shit right or we are going to beat you to a pulp for making us watch you do what we can't do! Are you drawing on it faster than you would the PNP or about the same?

Every vape has its idiosyncrasies, especially conduction vapes imo, and this wouldn't be the first time I didn't get it right out of the gate. I had to get some help from SliM to get the Ascent working as intended. But in the end I am not going to vape at those high temps. That's more dabber style, which is why I think OG likes it that way. I'm going to keep playing in the lower temps until trvb can do what OG is doing.

If it was me using the unit I would personally try leaving a bullet in from starting it up to heat to when I actually hit the bowl to see how it functioned. Id also try blazing OG's "heat soak" method and let it get to max temp, then drop the bullet in and let it warm up for 20-30 seconds then do a nice long slow draw on it.

If its anything like the PNP the longer you let the bullet heat soak the thicker and milkier the vapor will be

@ BLAZING OG,

Damn.... insane hits.

So I showed my friend your vid, mid-start.... and cut it short.
He only saw your hits.. and he didn't believe me that you were vaping.
Then I started the video from beginning to end.
Thanks for showing the ABV erbs at the end! Hardcore evidence!
You turned a non-vaping-believer into a believer.
Oh yeah, we were hitting the PNP while combing through your other vids too!!!

He's copping the PNP.

Great feedback guys. Blazing OG to your earlier question, yes the PNP and Baker work on the same principle but they are implemented somewhat differently mainly due to size constraints between the two. But clearly you see the similarity in results between them. Rock on.

I would like to draw from my PN, a PNP, and The Baker at the same time. Will the attachments available allow for something like that or do I need to go shopping for a proper adapter? There is definitely enough hose included with the unit to make something like that happen.

Thanks , sticks, Yes as @llamaman001 stated, I heat unit up, then drop herb bullet with herb and heat soak 10-15 but after watching my video I

think Llamaman001 is right more like 30+ seconds. I then draw slow/medium draws, if I hit it to hard I can see the vapor start to get thinner, so I maintain that slow/medium constant draw to achieve that.:ugh::ugh:
I hope Iam not :mental::mental:, but try heat soaking and loading at least half a bullet , a full bullet should be even more productive.
I also have achieved close enough to the other video but at 420 with a good heat soak, now to try that method with lower temps to see if it acts the same.
Yeah, and sticks try a slower draw and see if that changes and heat soak.:science:

Yup, I think your on to something. Good Stuff my man.
I agree , I think 15-30 seconds should do the trick.

That last vid was truelly amazing Blazing Og..well done to you and TherealVaporblunt!!

Thank You!!!!
That was all the baker after trying those methods, I was glad to see it work, now I have to try it a few fore times to try to replicate it again, shouldn't be a problem though.

Awesome dude!!
yup, no combustion at all, Ill do a video were everything is in the frame , and Ill try to do no cuts or edits just straight baker vaping, with some music of course :brow::brow:

@BLAZING OG

do you mind putting together specific details for your sessions? Something that tells us how long you preheat the baker (do you start out at a higher temp and back down or just load it when it stops blinking?), how many seconds you pre-soak, and a draw speed compared to the PNP, etc.

I hate to ask for this much detail and make your relaxing vape session a chore, but we all want what you are getting and I think this might help. Thanks!

Sure Ill do my best, let me do another session soon and ill takes some notes to report back with.
I do heat up unit till it stops blinking , and usually Iam still grinding up my material to allow unit to reach its temp and hold that heat.
In the video I successfully did it at 450 but got similar results at 420.
I think the pre soaking at least 30 seconds is crucial, and half a bullet loaded.
I also have made a screen into a cup shape by using a chop stick trick to push the screen in the center into the bullet to create the shape. Iam not sure if this is aiding in keeping the material in place. I shove the screen in the bullet after I load up my material to lock it in place.
Then pre heat 30+ seconds before drawing at a medium speed, not to fast but constant.
I keep the baker inverted on my glass piece that way no vapor escapes while Iam heat soaking the bullet. If you use in regular fashion , having the hose will prevent any vapor to escape. I f you dont use any hose and just leave the baker heat soaking you might notice a tiny tiny amount of vapor trying to escape but its minimal.

I hope to get some more "Timed" sessions to give you guys numbers, on exactly how I did it.
Ill get back with that as soon as possible.

I like to wait after the blinking to let the system fully saturate the heat, then I drop bullet in to heat soak, but after the unit blinks 3 times I thinks its up to that temp and locks on.

Try the screen trick and see if that helps, if you load a small bowl in th baker with no screen the herb cyclones around and does not get that conduction assistance as if the herb was sitting in place.

Sorry for posting this here ,but this is the video that showed me how to make my cup screens that work so well in various vapes as well as the baker bullets.

Thanks OG... great post. Five bucks says the difference is the screen. Spacers make all the difference in a lot of conduction vapes. Also, I would like to know how long you give the Baker between when it gets to temp and when you drop the bullet in.

Yeah, I want to say the screen is the difference.

Thank You!
I would say I wait approximately 20 seconds after the blinking lights, and then another 20-30 second to drop and pre heat the bullet.

Will report back, with more accurate times!!!

We got our units between Saturday and Monday, mm...it will be good to have you aboard!

Made the screen and had a great session. I think we have liftoff! I didn't go light on the load, so I am supposed to be feeling good, and I am. I took a screen from my LSV supply and domed it so that it fits very tightly in the bullet. It takes tweezers to remove it at the moment. I will adjust it later. I decided to leave nothing to chance, so I heated it up to 450 first, then backed it down to 390. Once it got down to 390 I dropped the bullet in and waited at least 30 seconds. I then used it inverted on the DH40 Chinese bubbler and got respectable clouds at that temp. I will try it again later tonight on a higher setting to see if I get even thicker clouds like I should. I took four to five draws 30 seconds long each, while giving it at least 30 seconds between hits. It may very well be able to withstand more (harder draws and lesser recovery periods) and I will keep getting harder and harder on it, but I wanted this to be an easy test out of the gate.

I think the instructions say to put the bullet in when you turn it on, but I don't remember. That's not how I would instinctively do it, but that may be the best thing to do given we are giving it a heat-soak anyhow. If the bullet is in the chamber from the beginning then the whole load will be at temp at the same time. The way we are doing it now, we drop a cold bullet in the chamber and it needs time to recover. One of these methods will smell more than the other.

@TherealVaporblunt -- I think a spacer included would work wonders. We just went through the Indica testing and they made a spacer for their unit that fits perfectly. Yours might be nothing more than a screen since it needs to account for airflow, but it would be a perfect screen that would maximize results.

Well this has been encouraging! I am going to go back to using it with a HT and even start some micro loads to see how it does. I thought it handled the smaller loads I ran through it the first time I used it very well.
