Anybody have any concerns of possible cracking of the crucible by putting the stem in the freezer? Any tiny faults in the ceramic bowl will be exacerbated with the extreme difference in temperatures? Just thinking out loud here.
Oh yeah no one was talking about putting the ceramic chamber pots in the freezer, just the aluminum steel stem piece! That has been my concern with glass as well, but yeah nothing to worry about with metals.
- After getting choked out like that at level 2....maybe I need to try the level 1 temp as others have suggested since level 2 can produce like that.
Yes! Try level one people, it extracts plenty on its own! If you really want a treat, load a full bowl of your tastiest herb, and take a long draw on level one, thick tasty clouds!
An update from the manufacturer on the battery charge level and passthrough charging:
"The battery will discharge faster than the charger will charge the battery when plugged in use. So if the user has 25% of the battery left and is using the device plugged in, chances are depending on how hard the user goes, the battery will cut off from low power faster than it recharges itself. The battery cut off during low battery is mainly to protect the high discharge battery. Even when the puck says it's completely discharged, there is still about 30% of power juice left in the cells, but the high cut off restrictions means the battery will be protected and last much longer throughout the device lifetime."
So...while there may be an extra bowl hiding in the battery, this will ensure the battery lasts a lot longer. Passthrough charging works best when it's more than a third charged up.
Oh nice! I figured there was some sort of production like that going on for battery longevity, I was also wondering if there was any sort of buffer on the top end, so that when it seems fully charged maybe it is actually a little below, for the same reason??
