@Morty bro, I have been using the S&B concentrate pads... I just squish them into my glass reducer, but TBH I much prefer the organic cotton wrap. Even with smallish sized rosin dabs, I find they kinda 'run' around and make a bit of a mess. The taste is so heavenly though, especially at the temps we use for flower. But they are a bitch to clean/maintain IMO. The organic cotton wrapped dabs milk up so dense and the flavour is off the charts. I heat with the tube inserted for these, but sticking it in post heat gives even better flavour, just a little slower extraction to start. So heavenly with the j-hook as well! And that ash catcher is on the list for GAS this week buddy!

@biohacker I will try the cotton! You have me curious as hell now. I've never had the problems you were mentioning w/ the Herbalizer pads, which makes me think your loading some phat dabs! I always put a lot less in when doing convection style dabs w/ the Sup. I've easily put a third of gram (w/ room to spare) in the stock stem though when doing sandwiches! Cotton it is!

@Morty they actually aren't that big... like 1/2 bb sized maybe? I dunno, perhaps it's the temperature, or the angle the heat is coming down at? It almost moved the dab to the side and leaked around the edge, but my sv3 was kinda at an angle due to the way it sits and leans in the reducer. Regardless, TBH I never really ever liked using those mesh pads... like I said before the maintenance sucks... what do you do just soak in ISO? The organic cotton works great, just make sure you use enough otherwise it will run through. More is better (cotton) IME, as limited as it may be...just make sure not to wrap the dab too tight. I've had incredible experiences and have been fortunate enough to have 28 different strains of high quality rosin on hand to test with! Flavours and experiences that have just put the biggest smile on my face possible!

Isn't it amazing how you can use this vape in full convection mode?? I don't cough using it this way either! But I do experience some hot spotting as I dial in the temps a bit more. Still would rather just insert after heating... there is a lot more convection going on here than I first thought. Still can't get over the flavour! Grinding is definitely going on the back burner.. flavour is just too damn good for too long with small parts of bud.

I'm back to using the butane blazer morty, the ignitor shit the bed and I busted the annoying safety off of it, but the convenience of the hands free heating is nice. Just wish the flame had a bit more oomph as it does take a while in comparison to the brule and propane.

Hey morty perhaps the herbie pads are a bit different than s&b?? From the FP thread, and I had the same experience with the FP too.

A few of us tried the SB pads, I tried the crafty pads.

To put it simply, none of us had decent results.

They're probably pretty similar. As far as cleaning, I agree they're a PIA. I actually ended up just pitchin' both of them after they got to messy & started tasting reclaimy. The taste you talk about w/ cotton really has me intrigued. Tried cotton before & didn't really like it, but that was w/ my old VapCap. In the vaping w/ cotton thread, alot of people are saying they're actually preferring hemp fiber to cotton. So...off to order some Elfwick Hemp Fiber! Wait till you see all the shit I've got/have comin' for the Supreme. It'll be sick! I'll take a family shot when all of it arrives.

It had a dryer sheet kind of taste to it. I was using organic cotton as well, but like I said, it could have easily been b/c it was w/ a VapCap...OG. Super Dark ABV.

Got the small Underdog screens in last night. I could see these replacing the stock screen for me. We'll see though.

Woah! Tame that GAS my man! It's DHGate, you don't need no $350! That ashcatcher cost me a whopping $15! Maybe put the $ towards getting Vapolution to stop jacking around & get some more 9mm straight glass stems IN STOCK! Sadly, I bet those are gone never to return. They say they'll get more in, but it's been forever, & w/ the 2.0 being discontinued, I have my doubts. But it's not all bad, b/c the 8mm do work, & performance is pretty much the same as the 9mm. The 9mm stems hold 1.5 x more material than the 8mm, making the 8mm stem perfect for microdosing. One can microdose w/ this beast if they so choose. Crazy I know!

I just found the 8mm way too restricted to use over the 9mm, but everyone has different tolerances. But I do agree they may never be seen again. Hoping for our homeboy @PeteSeattle to make an appearance again and build what we seek. I'm also going to ask @PlanetVape about it, and if we can get enough interest perhaps they will make us a batch. I'd be good for a dozen!

Nothing at present unfortunately...
Last time i tried their GG#4 and it was bomb!!
The greasy Pink Bubba was pretty good, very tasty but not as potent as the GG.
I noticed pretty quickly that they reduced my consumption due to their strength!
Will be ordering again and save some for the @Morty show in January!

It's as easy as choosing your joint specs, male or female, size of joint, size and length of tubing and even angle you want it to exit from the joint at! Ask to poke a hole wherever you want or just use a mesh basket!

That's a great idea @lazylathe. I could even send him one of my 9mm stems. We'd need the right thickness & length, which I'm guessing shouldn't be to terribly hard. After the holidaze, I think I'm gonna hit @Oregonglassblower up, & see if he can't rig something up like that. That would be tits! The ultimate SV3 stem! This would put my SAS into remission for sure!

Edit: Hey BH. Ended up ordering some VapCap degummed hemp fiber from PIU for $5 inc shipping. Will def pick up some organic cotton up to compare.

Using a brulee torch, actually started heating the top right side of unit, angled up so away from wires. Less temp jump only about 10 degrees and seems to maintain it better. When heating the very top it would shoot up, then drop kind of quickly.

Thing kind of reminds me of my old Herbalizer with regards to taste. May try some flavor chasing. Idk how to describe it but that first hit with full nugs makes my mouth gummy like my Herbalizer.

If so, you bet your ass it will! Remember that the tube part you put the stem in fits perect in a 14mm female joint. Just load the Vapo2 stem (notch end in), & it will fit right in the above style adapter/reducer. EZ Peezy.

Yes! Have you tried inserting the stem after heat up? I find that it's very similar to the glass adapter convection mod, and actually prefer it. Flavour country!

Fellas! I would have totally hit that shit at 255c but I was too shitting my pants that something was going to melt on my sv3 or some shit! It was harsh enough at 220 after stewing from 255!

@Morty we have PlanetVape on the line interested in the work! Just need all the EXACT measurements, particulars, details... i'll have to go back and search, and it's looking something like $16cdn per stem if we get a dozen! POW!

Just need a straight version of this. It's 9.5 OD, so we'd need to shrink the diameter a skosh. Like I said above, I could send him my Vapo2 glass stem to show him the thickness we'd/I'd want. From there, I need to measure how long the stem should be & where it should end & the 14mm male joint should start. The joint of the glass stem needs to begin right under the silicone (where you insert the stem). From there I was thinking I want 2 versions. One w/ a notch just like the Vapo2 glass stem (for nugz) & one w/ no notch (for inserting the small Underdog screens & for use w/ ground bud). What do you think ?
