I never thought anyone can improve on the glass stems, shout out for the original idea to
@lazylathe .
But then
@biohacker took on the one man mission to find our glass guy
@PeteSeattle . And now here we are. Biohacker I think your prayers have finally been answered my friend
.
So again thank you
@lazylathe @biohacker and
@PeteSeattle without you three we would still be only dreaming of these.
Thanks all of you, and thanks to you
@VAPEHUNTER for being a key player in this process as well, as your glass stems have helped evolve our goals and have been greatly appreciated, especially like the more clumsy (idiotic) guys like myself!
I just got the notification! I skipped wake and bake in anticipation!
Sounds like someone has some reviewing to do?
But I bet you're too
Speaking of reviewing to do, my GonG's from
@PeteSeattle have landed! First the bad news? Pete was generous enough to include two, and during the dark evening hours finishing testing on my patio, one rolled off the table about 2.5 feet on to a composite board deck and chattered. I'm not even sure i'll ever be the same
First glass casualty in over 6 months, but life goes on..
The testing went pretty awesome, and this thing is cutting edge. It seems like such a simple concept, but it makes a pretty significant difference, in my life anyway. It's so much sleeker/cleaner, and not that i ever really used them, but no need for grommets. Having some of those little roll stops like the PVHES gong's have would be gold for future revisions if possible, just to prevent something like that 2" roll that happened to me last night. What a feeling watching one of your two offspring so shortly after birth, get killed right in front of you. The horror! I digress..
The GonG's have a really nice finish, great job Pete. Super awesome fit, so clean, lots space for herb, with the pinch. This one has an inside diameter/airflow the same as the stems
@VAPEHUNTER cut me, there is definitely some restriction compared to my recently broken glass stem that
@lazylathe made me some time back. Are you guys using different tubes? I swear that when I used my glass tube from Lazy, I couldn't really even detect a difference between its airflow and a stock metal? Now with my newly cut glass stems from vapehunter and the new gong from Pete, i notice a pretty strong restriction in comparison, obviously contingent on my loading, etc. but something that I really need to be mindful of, and loading is a bit more tedious.
The flavour of the all glass is really something, especially with a coarse shred or just chunks of nugs.
@PeteSeattle sign me up for anything else you have coming buddy and thanks so much for bringing it! So nice to see it come to fruition when all I thought was that it was a shot in the dark via a 2 second PM. You da man bro!!!!
The Supreme continues to be my all time favourite vape and truthfully, the only one that can really do it for me. What else out there can provide such smooth, dense, tasty, vapour that is cool and non-irritating at moderate to upper temps? With the ability to work as a convection or conduction/radiant device depending on what you prefer or how you feel?
Seriously debating a second Supreme (dually?) for claisen double barrel supreme blastoffs!
Oh yeah, we need to get on someone to design a silicone heat shield!
@Ratchett ? Any room for some Supreme accessories? I think the heat shield would be rather simple and quite a success!
