Discontinued Supreme Vaporizer

Ran my torch at max for a test and ... well look for yourself :)

The Sub thread should deliver all the info you can need. What I can tell you in short is that a propperly preheated Sub will turn a way bigger load to vapor.

What torch is that? Very powerful indeed

Almost there...
Tried my torch today for a test!
Heated to 160 and it maxed out at 172.1C.

The torch i have has a much finer point and only heats a small spot.
It appears as if @Herr_Dampf has a torch on steroids!

I would think i would find my torch easier to handle as i know it only overshoots the temp by a max of 10 to 12 degrees.

Wow that is heating up fast! My torch is similar.... do you get similar results if you heat it up in the farthest corner from the sensor? I think i've noticed differences.. you can nearly predict the overshoot based on how fast it's climbing.

Is the Sub's vapour quality/density/taste etc. similar to the Sup? If so, and it can handle a bigger load.... woah oh....!

whoever suggested not to add the tube until up to temp... Thanks!

Just used two torches to heat to 170 degrees and inserted my tube afterwards filled to the brim with a haze hybrid as my morning eye opener. For sure a different experience. I had never tried it. Thanks. Very cool.

And if you have the coordination to run two torches at once it is twice as fast! I was up to heat in around 30 seconds

Edit. Note. With two powerful torches temp can jump 30 degrees from where you let off. I suggest stopping no later than 160 degrees and waiting. It may hit 190 plus!

I've only used the late insertion method, how would you characterize the difference with the plug it in early way?

I was initially doing the post heat insertion. But I've decided that for me the pre-heat insertion provides more profound hits from the first draw than can be achieved by post heat insertion. You probably get more tasty terps on the first hit by inserting it later, but I couldn't really detect enough of a taste difference myself, and the first hit size differential between the two methods has led me down the path of pre-heat insertion.

This post sounds way more sexual than I had intended it to be.

All right so I'm in!! You guys are killing me as I've been set with my mighty,evo,ss,mv...but damn had to jump on this..those videos are serious business guys..

I know we follow some of the same threads, and i've owned all of your mentioned vapes, and the SupV3 blows them all away for my needs.

I like to insert the tube before torching when using temps around 150-160, but for anything over 165-170, i'm inserting after heatup. Big difference in taste IMO.

The only other torch vapes i've sampled are the Lotus and VapCap. Both only received the attention of a single use, due to the SupV3! I can't get over this vape! Another night Mighty-free!

I still worship my Mighty, don't get me wrong..... it serves a purpose that the Supreme cannot fill. However for home, if I have a choice - i'm reaching for the Supreme every time!

Pretty sure you won't regret it, and you have a torch background - this is all brand new to me! If you don't like it I will happily take it off of your hands!

The Supreme v3 continues to impress me as well. I'm taking longer draws now, seems like I get 75% of the extraction in the first hit and the rest in the second hit and then it's spent...any size load, full or half full...almost always start temp of 165c and tube inserted after full heat up. I get a kick out of pulling out the screen from the handle and removing the spent solid dried column of abv, so evenly browned throughout no matter how tightly it's packed.

Loading and unloading the Supreme feels like using a weapon of some sort, it's like the .44 magnum of Dirty Harry vaporizers.

The completeness of the extraction is mind boggling. I don't even think I need to clean my tube, the dense heated air seems to vaporize just about everything with residue only in my Water Tool. The paper clip screen is discoloring however, so I might soak the whole tube unit overnight in ISO. 18mm grommet and end of silicone sheath are getting a wee discolored.

Now that I've spent quality time with my Supreme, I think an electric version with up to 3 preset temps would be absolutely killer. The torch heatup time and safety problem is really the biggest thing holding this back. I fully believe them when they say their heating element is the most advanced in the industry.

I used to use a sublimator UFO, but this is a much better execution of that type of heater approach...MUCH better...

RE-Discovered a new technique tonight, thanks to everyone here!

Now i loves me some thick, delicious vapor and the Sup3 delivers this in gobs on demand!
I was reading about how some like to heat with the stem and others add the stem after heating the block.

Tonight i added the stem after heating to 165.
Hit it immediately after inserting the stem, some airiness to the vapor before it really starts to build.
Stop now and clear the Wt and hold for 10 to 15 seconds.
Exhale slowly and savor the flavor!!

Quick reheat with the tube inserted to finish off the load.
Great taste and thick clouds after reheating to 165 again!

I have also started heating the front of the block as i find it retains the heat a bit better and longer.
Takes longer to reach vaping temp with my pinpoint flame but the trade off is good!

Every tube amazes me!
Perfectly brown ABV, perfectly toasted and crispy!
Nothing left in any load that is really worth keeping!

The Supreme 3 still reigns Supreme!

So i am thinking about glass stems for the Supreme, mentioned a few times in this thread.
I look through my box of glass stems, adapters etc and find a Vapolution 2.0 stem!
Fits like it was made for the Supreme!
Load up a small nugget and heat up to 155C.
Insert glass stem and hit away, puffing big tasty clouds!
At this temp it is awesome dry!
Will post a pic tomorrow night!

I just checked on their site and the medium says its 8mm and the large is 9mm. I would imagine the large bowl is a better fit. What a great idea you had and a cheap glass option for the rest of us! Do you know if you are using the large or medium size? Now I am wondering if the infuser or the all-in-wonder bowl or what other vapolution stems will work

Would you say the glass made much difference? I would imagine the glass doesnt heat as quick as the thin aluminum tube. I know taste is already so great in the Supreme that it is hard to get much better, but did this have much affect on enhancing taste?

Mine is the 8mm tube, although i am sure the 9mm would also work maybe just slightly snugger.
The 8mm one slides in perfectly and seals 100% at the silicone tip, no need to mess with anything!

I think the glass tasted better for me, although it was only one test.
Vapor production was about the same as the aluminum tube.

I just loaded a small nug and vaped till it was done.
Lots of taste and flavor and clouds.
It came out as a solid little crispy chunk of brown ABV.

Now i need to contact someone to make a stem for me with a 14mm male joint on the end!

More testing tonight and more results and pics!

Okay, so with further testing of both glass and OG stem has been done.
Glass tastes purer but not by much! Very strain dependent during my tests.

Vapolution 2.0 glass stem fits perfectly and you get a lot of convection on the first hit.
For this place the stem in after the heating is completed.
I am heating to 170 and it steadies at around 173C
Great taste and flavor and good clouds!

The stem, freshly loaded with some Strawberry Cough! It's not clean because it is in constant use now! LOL!

Inserted into the Supreme 3. I still need to cut the glass stem down and flame polish the end.
As it sits now it fits perfectly into my new bubbler!

You can also see my repaired thermometer wires covered in black heat shrink.
I also added a bit of silicone heat protection tubing to prevent the thermocouple wires from also getting hot.
My Supreme runs a bit cooler now and i like it!

It's a serious toss up between getting another Supreme 3 and babying it so it stays original.
And a VqpMan and building a heating station for it!
Decisions, decisions...

Just so Dab HAppy!
I can't say enough about this vape but it really has gotten a lot of love from me lately. I was off for almost 2 weeks for my new baby (Chloe, not the supreme although they did come around the same time) and I got to be a homebody which was great to get really acquainted with the Supreme. I also saw a man about a horse and loaded up with several different strains to run through the Supreme. I have been fortunate enough to run some Blue Dream, Tangerine, Purple Kush (supposedly), Trainwreck, Pineapple and some mixed batch that contains buds from different strains such as Goldstar and Sour Diesel. I feel like I have been blessed with all these strains to test and get to know my Supreme with. The Supreme V3 provides such flavorful hits there is no question if I could tell you which is which in a blindfold test. The Blue Dream tastes the best IMO, but the Pineapple is my favorite by far because it tastes almost as good as Blue Dream but has a slightly stronger effect.

I have access to good wax, I have several mL of co2 oil, I have a rosin press setup and yet I have not used or had the desire to use concentrates since I started using my Supreme V3. 2-3 back-to-back bowls of Blue Dream, Pineapple or Trainwreck will get me just as medicated as a typical(typical for me) concentrate session would get me, only concentrates sometimes come with a headache or lack some of the body high I feel. With the flowers I just felt it was a better high so now I just prefer my Supreme V3.

So not only is the Supreme V3 everything that has been mentioned in this thread already, but it is a concentrate killer in my book.

I also want to say a electronic version of this would be sweet. I wasn't as keen on it before, but now I just want every vaporizer to hit like this thing. A battery operated or even plug operated version would easily find its way into my rotation!
