Chubba - I usually take the torch off 5-10 degrees lower as there is a slight lag in the temp readout, or example, if I stop at 265, it usually climbs to between 272-275 then when I inhale, it slowly drops in temperature.

I would say that you can take three hits per heating, so when it drops to about 265 again, I heat it up to 275 ish and let it climb to 285 then repeat the process until somewhere just below 310.

The initial heat up time takes about a minute and half to two minutes. Subsequent heating times are probably 10-15 seconds or so. Ed told me the best way to heat these things are from the bottom up. I usually pick a corner and aim upwards so I am heating up two sides of the heater at the same time. Not sure if that actually makes a difrerence or not, but that is how I do it.

The plastic containers fit over the bottom hole of the supreme perfectly. Once you've finished, remove the screen, place container over hole and shake out your vaped material. Makes cleaning out and reusing your material that much easier. I added mine to loose leaf tea and brewed it up. Was just a bonus to my already ex-tactic state.

Messed around with the scale and little plastic containers this morning, filling up the Supreme and sorting out dosages... seems 0.4g exactly a full bowl, I'm predicting some serious milk.

Got my butane all sorted, now I just have 1 more day of work to get through then it's party time

I fail at filling up lighters (something I have NEVER done, used Bic for 10 years), gave it a dry run and the lighter flame stopped at 240F

I put the lighter onto the can and I swear it seems like nothing is happening, do I just hold it there? I read online that I need to turn the flame all the way to "minus/off" before I refill... I also read to hold the can upside down and push into the lighter (also upside down) rather then sticking the lighter on top?

Ok,normally you turn lighter to low,in this case,leave it as-is. Turn lighter upside down,insert butane can & press down. When butane starts to come out,its full. Wait a minute or so & use.

turn the flame adjuster up & down until it ignites. I did that too...I turned mine down too low & heard the gas coming out but it wouldnt ignite. Try turning it up a bit first,then lower it while its lit til you get it where you want it.

It sounds like the gas is coming out the side rather then the tip, goes from being shutoff to REALLY loud.

I put a bic flame infront of it and the entire lighter/my hand went up in flames.

Ummmm.....HOLY SHIT!!!! Sounds like that torch is bunk sir. I guess you can use the stove for now Just be very careful not to scorch the wood!!!!

Guess I better go down to the tobbaconist tomorrow and buy a high quality torch.

EDIT: My boiler maker brother came in and confirmed it's rooted, he's taking me down to the hardware store tomorrow, says I can get a brutal butane torch for $30 that will absolutely blast, all hope is not lost

This happens a LOT when you use the el cheapo chinese Blazer knock-offs. I would personally Email Eddie & let him know. You paid for a torch that works & should get one,...not have to go out & buy one before you even get to use your SV (except by choice).

If you do go to the tobacconist & have a look-see around...look for a multi-flame torch. They make em now with 2,3 and even 4 flames!!! These WILL heat up the SV in a flash and most likely look better than the butane torch your bro will find....wont work as good tho.

Everytime I try to use my VS with a torch I get instant combustion! Do you hold it really far away? Lower the flame? Etc,Etc,Etc?? I can really TASTE the diff between the torch & regular flame,I just cant get it to work for me

I took this vid at the end of the bowl. I can usually get crazy big hits that are bigger than with Da Buddha.

I light it until the second I start seeing vapor and then inhale steadily or slightly slower. It will keep giving vapor. If you want more during the pull, you can heat it up for another second or two. With some practice, you can string out a bowl as long as possible with tons of big hits.
