For anyone interested in purchasing (like me), I think Planetvape.ca is even a better deal than purchasing from Sublimator with a 15% off coupon.

It seems like they haven't updated their photos from the old heaters to the new. Maybe they are trying to get rid of all the old models before selling the new ones? I'll need to contact their support about that, I want an apollo now! :D

Just wondering, did you receive any word back from PV confirming that they now have the new heater heads in stock?

I am probably going to send PV a email really soon because now I really want the Apollo :brow:

They have both old and new, but have a severe stock shortage at the moment. I think with the 15% off discount, it's probably better to buy direct from Sublimator anyway, and then you get exactly what you want/need and it's in stock. If not, they said something like 2 weeks until their order arrives.

ahhh, ok thanks for the update :)

Im going to make a order for the apollo soon! Probably going to sell my Sub-E-Nail heater head and replace it with a D-Nail Halo once my Hex Nail arrives (the sub enail is too big and clunky for my liking)

Where do I find the 15% off code?

You getting the 3.0 @Poostuff ? I want to upgrade but the 2.0 is going strong except for the 1hr timer that fuses my vape together if I get distracted. I hope that previously mentioned adapter actually comes into reality for future longevity. Shame I'ts not backwards compatible at all yet. Spose I should get onto one of the old 2.0 MC with 3hr shutoff time.

Is it definitely called the 3.0 @Teedub
I think I have to buy one this weekend & you should too :)
There's nothing wrong with mine either but it's the only desktop I use right now & I consider it the the best. Not many vaporizers I buy have worked flawlessly for over 12 months so I'm confident buying another. I think maybe I'll lash out & buy the whole kit this time.
Just need to decide if I get the Apollo again & still deciding between stainless & Ti.
I bought my 2.0 from a local vendor & somehow ended up with a stainless atomiser & Ti Apollo heater.
I ordered stainless & it looked like that's what I got until I used it for a week & the heater turned that gold/blue/purple colour.
I'm ok with the timer but I'll love the 3hr one. I've only had the heater stick to the atomiser once or twice but it's fine as soon as I heat it again. Maybe that's because mine is Ti & stainless.
Cleaning the atomiser is the hard part especially if I leave it more than a week.
I agree with you if they put out an adapter that'd be great because if the controller goes on the one I have now it won't be an issue.
I read the power supply is the same so there's hope.
I like the fact that all the parts of the Sub are separate & I don't have to send the whole thing in if I do have an issue.
Hey do you know if I buy directly will they include an AU power cord?

Ha ha, yeah don't quote me on the 3.0 just regurgitating what I've read here really. 2.5 Is prob more appropriate.

buy it man we need some fc reviews and pics. I love the Ti, I'd get it again if the price difference isn't ridiculous.

To clean I pull my atomiser apart and soak it all in boiling hot pbw and rinse it off and dry fairly quickly. No rust or staining from the pbw and so far its worked really well. I've even unscrewed the heater and soaked the solid piece of Ti once.

My 2.0 came with an ozzy plug but that was from Planet vape, but also worth noting my 2.0 power chord is removable. Its the same type as the evo. (Like a normal pc plug) So it's easy and cheap to swap out if needed. I have no idea what the "3.0/2.5" has but I cautiously think its the same? If its the same power supply I don't see why not.

My heater is also Ti and the atty is S/Steel. I wish my atty/heater came apart when fused. I have to let it cool, then hit the atty with a torch for a while and let the Ti bit drop out. Such a pain and yeah 3hr would pretty much solve that for me.

I'd just like to point out to the forum (because I've seen people say you have to be basically stupid to not remember to power cycle) that I don't just sit there staring at the sub all day and night I like to do things as well! So its inevitable I'm gonna miss the on/off cycle every now and then whilst away from the room. Even with a bloody egg timer haha. :2c: :peace:

Do you all know that there'll come ("the next time") a digital temp controller by Sublimator?

Do you know that the HexNail is being optimized for driving the Sub?

Would be my first choice because of its versatility in using a regular enail too.

One (premium) controller for two devices is the half price. For the costs of the MC and PS you'll get half a HexNail!

Does anybody know something about differences in performance between the 2.0 an the new heater?

Why buying the new version when the former one is doing the same job? Just because of the 3h-timer?

Then better buying a new controller who is compatible with the Sub-heater and drive the old Sub-heaters by it

I'm still very tempted to buy the Sub parts. But still waiting for comparing reviews on the new version - and on similar devices like NV Flower Pot/Herborizer Ti/D-Nail Flower Adapter/Errlectric Herb Nail.

Today is another Sublimator testing day! The Supreme 3 has had all the attention lately, I just prefer it's simpler no grind approach and the vapour quality is easier/smoother on my lungs, and the temperature accuracy is pretty dope.

I have found the Sub wearing on my lungs, so i'm dialing it down...letting it reach thermal equilibrium and see what a more modest temperature does to me!

For those of you with sticking atomizers.... how common is this? Never seen it...

From their warranty page.... would it not be a tricky thing to do? Unless you have multiple heater heads..

*DO NOT PLACE A COLD HEATING DEVICE INTO A HOT ATOMIZER. THE TWO OBJECTS WILL FUSE TOGETHER (not covered by warranty)

I've had mine for 3+ years and have yet to run into anything sticking together.
Seriously? Maybe you don't use it as often as some or you're fastidious with cleaning.
@biohacker I find if the timer times out & you accidentally let the heating element & atomiser cool while attached they can stick together, a reheat usually solves that for me. However the atomiser itself can also fuse into a single piece if not broken down & cleaned "every other day" as recommended by Enrico.
If I clean mine once a week it's not an issue, I just soak the atomiser in iso & give it a quick scrub with soft steel wool. Sometimes I don't have time & if I leave it too long it's a total pain in the ass to get apart, but I'm ok with it because that's the only cleaning required with the Sub it's very low maintenance.

I haven't been using it much lately but it was heavily used it's first 2 yrs, left on all day. And it's honestly never been kept very clean, it's filthy right now. The heating element is TUFF!

I also didn't really ever use the timer, even before i cut it out. Just always had the timer box on bypass.

Okay, no timer on the one i'm using so that could explain things. To be honest, i'm not always a huge fan of "thermal equilibrium". I mean, I know that's the way the device is designed, but I find you can achieve really good convection hits by just throwing on the heater on a cold atomizer "on demand". I find the taste way better this way.

That's crazy that the atomizer has to be broken down and cleaned so often...i've done an iso soak, and it still didn't look squeeky down there.

I clean my atomizer with PBW. There's a thread on it. It's as simple as unscrewing the parts and boiling water After a 10 minute soak. I scrape what's left out and then rinse it clean. Worst part is seating a new screen.

I haven't cleaned my sub ever since I got it.... it's been about a month of daily use.
I guess it's time for me to clean my atomizer :p

I have the Ti atomizer + Ti nail and haven't had my heater + atom stick together, maybe because they're both Ti?

Also, I currently have the 3 hour timer which i think is extremely useful compared to the 1 hour. I usually turn my sub on 20 min - 1 hour before using.

I'm not sure if the old controllers have this but around 5 minutes before the controller is set to auto shut off it puts off a loud buzz to notify you.

I can't wait for the Hex nail to be compatible with the sub! I'd love to give a more in depth review of the sub in a few months as I have a new ti Apollo coming this Monday :D

Do you have the Ti or SS atomizer?
