Are there any easy mods to make the bowl smaller in diameter so you can use less herb?

I agree with @Shit Snacks above. As long as the screen is covered it will work. At least it has for me each time. If you need to shrink the oven a bit, I found that the cfv/swift pro rings fit my beta oven, @Shit Snacks might be able to know if the ovens are the same size as the production models. You could fill just the screen surface up inside the ring.

Hopefully some day we can get a sort of U-turn adapter made like this that's all glass to swap in for Jr mouthpieces? Might that be possible @StickyBricks & @Slow Draw McGraw as a future accessory for a proper HydroJr?
Keep a very close eye on the threads, news is coming!
Paging @Slow Draw McGraw - so it appears that vapefiend is currently out of stock of SBJs, any other known EU-based and authorized online-vendors. Asking for a friend (for real)!

Any others who are EU-based and have personal experience are welcome to chime in!

TIA stay crispy everyone!
Vapefiend is our only EU based authorized vendor as this time, they will be back in stock very soon!

If you put enough to cover the screen, you can achieve great results. The beta versions definitely have a bigger bowl.

Yeah the beta bowl is wider so I'm not sure about that since the production bowl is actually slightly smaller than the Daisy/Brick bowl even, though it uses the same size 5/8inch screens. This means the screens concave a bit in the Jr, so you don't even need to cover the whole screen with herb to work well. You can load just a tiny bit in the center, it will sit lower in the concavity of the bowl and work great. I did not have the same kind of success loading less in my beta Jr (or even my Daisy honestly) which is another reason why it is now for water only and great for more than one person with such a large bowl. Meanwhile the production Jr bowl is incredibly versatile with a variety of amounts and packing styles (course/fine grind, whole nug, whathaveyou) that work pretty equally phenomenal in my experience so far.

That is great to hear @Slow Draw McGraw! I suspected you might be up to something like this... Still holding out hope for an eventual 18-14mm bubbler-dedicated BowlBrick too

So I'm in the market for one of these. I never pulled the trigger on the lily when it was out, and I know this question has been asked @Shit Snacks, but is there a big difference between the 2? I remember some posts on the lily thread describing the lily vapor to be a little harsh. Does the Jr have such issues.

Damn I've been out of the game for months haha, but with @StickyBricks pushing out all the goodies, it's time for a return.

Yeah Jr is world smoother stock vs stock, it has the same vaporpath as Daisy and Brick Sr meaning three turns and rarely harsh vapor, despite the smaller mouthpiece here. I even like my Jr more than my Daisy and I can be a wuss when it comes to harsh vapor so that should say something. Jr is kinda like Daisy meets Lily, but really it is better than both in my opinion, so yeah nothing to worry about, bite that bullet! Jr also has a bowl more like Daisy vs Lily's smaller one, angled intake is a unique combo of the two that works great, just same type of heat is all.

So not that I've ever used a Daisy, but I will note that after losing half of February to crappy illness, I went back determined to sort out technique on my Jr. (I was mostly there early in Feb., but not quite.)

I think I've now sorted technique. Even a relatively short draw will see me release "holy crap I'm still exhaling vapor?!?" clouds. NOT HARSH. Unless you overdo it, which I can, and even then it's more of single or double quick cough vs. full-on fit. Like "oof, that was a bit much" as opposed to "ow ow hack, crap, hack, hack, hack, need water now..."

It's a really impressive vaporizer.

Since it's convection there's no need to shrink the bowl size to use less herb. Just use less herb. Conduction vapes greatly benefit from resizing the oven for the load size, but one of the nice things about convection is not having to worry about that kind of thing.
One thing I do notice w/ the Junior is the "hot zone" in the bowl is off-center---it's on one side of the bowl, at least with how I use it. So instead of evenly covering the screen w/ herb, I'll pile up my load so most of the herb sits in the hot spot zone. I got a nice performance bump out of doing this and of course more even roasting.

Yep, it depends on the orientation of the flame intake glass and, of course, draw speed. The faster you draw, the more concentrated the hot area is... If you sip and let the heat hover thru the load, it's pretty even heating, I find. Generally, it seems that the hotter area is on the opposite side of the flame intake (w/ carb closed). You could try an turn the intake some 90 degrees and see, if the area moves also.
Your mileage may vary, of course. ;) :)

Whoaaaaaa. Just got my Jr, matches perfectly with my daisy albeit the Daisy needs a cleaning. Ok now performance: I barely packed the screen, and got the technique down on my second try. This thing rips HARD. I only took 2 hits so far, but I'm definitely feeling the effects. This thing exceeded expectations. It's also a little smaller than I thought. Love at first sight. Thanks @StickyBricks and @PuffItUp

Checking in after nearly a month with this fine device and still loving. Definitely my primary daily-driver (PAX 3 is my secondary daily-driver).

So I was wondering anyone else take pipe screens to act as a filter in the second hole (where the air path turns and meets with the mouthpiece on the bottom half)? Been working great for me, I had a lower mesh screens that fit perfectly so I just used two screens instead, and placed em at crisscrossed angles to make a finer mesh. I just cleaned mine for the second or third, and wow it catches SOOO much stuff that would potentially be going in your mouth. I guess that's the only complaint about the stock version, is no screen for that. But it's an easy fix , though I think it's definitely something to consider including in future SBJs that are sent out!

Thanks for making such an awesome vape Sticky Brick Labs!

Try using some hemp fiber instead. You will be rewarded with nice reclaim over time... Just put that fiber filter into the bowl and have a golden tasty yummy time :)

Hey everyone we have some exciting news to share with you all. Due to an increased interest in wanting to use the Sticky Brick Junior through water filtration, we have teamed with our in-house glass Blower in Asheville North Carolina to make a new thick "U" glass adapter to accomplish this demand. It carries a 15 day warranty against defects.
Its designed to let you attach the Junior to your existing 14mm waterpiece. You attach it where your Junior mouthpiece goes and onto your 14mm male connection on your water piece. It has been tested and works great! We feel everyone will be very pleased with this new adapter. You can purchase yours now at www.StickyBrickLabs.com under the 'Sticky Glass's section. Or by clicking here It will retail for $32.95
Thank You everyone for your ongoing support! It truly means alot to our small but growing company.
