Sticky Brick Junior by Sticky Brick Labs

My first go was so strong I didn't even realize I hadn't covered the carb hole until the end of my draw when I was wondering why it had felt so open and fast. My face started to tingle a little too which was new. It's works perfect in this thing and somehow not too rough on my throat. Quartz banger kicked my ass again, works just fine in my b-ju too. Though when your set to draw the banger is at forehead level which is a little more awkward to load.

Vapes R Great
Took the Junior on its first field trip this morning to the cancer agency
Had a quick session in a park near by after my appointments. Actually seemed like a better vaping expierence then being inside haha. I have not noticed much smell with this guy the wood seems to mask that traditional dirty vape smell very well. Also Ordered a few more random cheap torches for back ups.

This is likely going to be my next vaporizer.
It just seems great. Simple, easy to clean, compact, durable, affordable, attractive, unique, off the grid, organic, raw.

Other vapes I'm interested in...

Firewood
Milaana
Mighty/Minivap

But this one seems extra special.

It is extra special. It truly does give desktop performance, in a tiny form factor, without electricity. Pure instant convection bliss!

Yup, despite the advanced learning curve, the boneheadedly simple concept is what you want in a portable. Or at least what i want. This is your apocalypse vape for when the power grid hits the fan.

I'm thinking of making it my daily driver and getting rid of a few others. Huge on demand direct draw clouds from glass, I can't see filling up another bag. More pieces to clean with my solid valve alone than this whole vaporizer.

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
Any comments on the different tastes given off by the different woods? And if any wood signatures disappear over time more than others?

Walnut is very neutral to me - not even noticed anything on first use, the spalted maple had a very distinct smell/taste on mine that I was not able to get rid of, but I seem to be very sensitive to this.
As I mentioned earlier, if you like it rather neutral, walnut is your choice. (Just my .02)

But now that there's new woods out, there might be other pretty neutral ones too?

Either way, you have a variety to choose from for your likings. So get on the board and take the plunge.
Great product, great company, great guys :)

No news on colored glass quite yet, still trying to get something consistent set up. We will be adding etched glass very soon for the OG Brick and hopefully the JR will follow soon. We are adding cherry as a wood choice to our store today and I personally think that is the most neutral of wood types.

Thanks for the update @StickyBricks. I plan on gifting my friend a cherry Jr once some glass options are available. Love the fact your striving to make an excellent product even better!

Trying on the glass, but nothing solid quite yet. Cherry Juniors are now available as an option on our site, pics coming.
That is what i purchased and it arrived today. if you ever decide to make custom lids let me know...i would love one about 2-3 inches taller with a compartment to put herb in....after 2 sessions with this vape..i am too high for more right now...i will say this is a better design than the lily, the hits are smoother and cooler. A little goes a long way. Also custom glass mouthpiece would be cool too!!

I received my Iroka wood SB JR yesterday from PIU and have had a day or so to experiment with it. First few times I combusted then found a good technique that has been yielding massive clouds:rockon: I absolutely love this thing and it is the only other vape that has been able to pry my Vapcap out of my hands lol. I definetly need to get a better angled torch. I believe the small honest torch that came with my SB JR is defective it sputters and won't stay lit and my bernzomatic handheld is just to much flame. Can anyone recommend a good RELIABLE torch that will pair nicely with my brick? All in all I am very happy with this thing I just hope cleaning, maintaince and screen replacement aren't to difficult.

This is a great one:

https://www.amazon.com/Degree-Angle-Flames-Butane-Lighter/dp/B005TOOI5A

It takes 2-3 weeks because it ships from China, I would order a few.

In the meantime, you may want to try purging the stock torch. It shouldn't be sputtering unless set too low. To purge it, turn the torch upside down, and hold it away from your body. Use a small screwdriver or ballpoint pen, etc to depress the filling valve on the bottom.

You may have to do this many times to completely purge the butane until there is none left. Refill with high quality butane and see if you notice a difference in performance.

Oh fun times, some magical days lie ahead as you refine your technique!

A good torch is paramount, hopefully you are able to straighten yours out but should have a few backups. I like the lighters @Vapor_Eyes linked, the Vapman lighter is also really nice and what I use as my dd. Maybe it varies but mine adjusts very low while still lighting every time and gives me excellent control, to where I can actually limit myself to a low temp session no matter how aggressive the torch.

Maintenance is a breeze. I brush the screen out with a S&B brush while still warm and rarely need to remove. ISO or wash the glass periodically, brush the sidewalls and through the air passages every blue moon. Any odor from combustion events will quickly diminish with use, just wash the glass and screen.

@StRaNgEcLoUdS definitely try the purge with your honest torch. We have found these torches to be pretty good overall and like them much better then the original eagle torches we were sending out. If it doesn't work out, please let us know and we will gladly send out a new torch.

Cedar is almost entirely gone and our supply of spalted maple is starting to run thin also. We do have some Iroka in the kiln but that will be in limited supply also. We will always have cherry and walnut, but we are getting ready to unload a big portion of the kiln and we will see what's buried in the bottom. We will find something different to replace the cedar option. Still nothing to report on the custom glass front.
