Just finished a batch of coconut oil using lecithin.... haven't tried yet... will try to post details later. Oh yeah, that's not lecithin in my Avatar.
Ya, unbleached, non-GMO, solvent-free is what you want. If someone can't find something "non-GMO," at least in the US, it's legally required to be non-GMO if it has the USDA Organic seal on it.Well the lecithin I have is unbleached non-GMO, but obviously not organic, and will be solvent-extracted. But I've checked, and at least in the US, organic soy lecithin is available, and extracted solvent-free.
Here's one company at least than sells it @ $20/lb (not internationally though, unfortunately). I'm sure there are more.
Stop eating GMOs everyone! and soy is no good in general really. Another lecithin would probably be a better option. and organic virgin coconut oil is great for everything including making canna oil
...health food stores? You will find the powder there, which is
what you want.
...from what I can see from your photo, the only other ingredients are gelatin and glycerin.
...they may thicken up your mixture, but it should be ok. If that is all you can get, I would test a small amount first and see.
I am thinking of making my canna coconut oil today or before the new year...
...I was told to refrigerate it after I cook and strain the oil, thats what I did last time too. Ordinarily I would never put it in the fridge.
That stuff is amazing! http://www.hybridrastamama.com/2012/08/333-Uses-For-Coconut-Oil.html?m=1

The VCO I have does not say it needs to be refrigerated. But I will do so after its cooked and strained.
Did you find this in a health food store or just at a local grocery store??
Snip
I have been periodically experimenting with soy lech capsule... ...eaten about 45 min before hand helps for me noticeably.
