Simrell Vaporizer

I will have to give that a try as I had been inserting the "TEDrell" :) lower. I found your 1600J and 90% settings in Cascade mode at the lower insert position quite likable even with two reheats.
I totally forgot that the V2 has cascade mode and honestly haven’t used it or looked into it. Is it a noticeable heating feature?

After months of deliberation, I will be calling it a “Simrell” with variations depending on wood, titanium etc. The engine itself will remain the “Extraction Engine” as the engine paired with any other stem would not be a complete “Simrell” as it was created to symbiotically work with our vortex/mvs system for an overall balance of optimum cooling, airflow and flavor.

How do you like the forge? I've been on the fence about getting one. Have been using a small torch and wand very effectively with the vape.
Honestly it’s the best performing IH I’ve ever used. The Biggest “downfall” is its size, battery compatibility and cost in my opinion, but beyond that, the ability to really fine tune your experience far exceeds my issues with size and battery. It’s definitely more of a home portable vs an EDC outside the house. I’d really like to see a plugin unit that enable a more compact form factor for desk use.

Very much so. Do try it out. Not sure what algorithm they use in the Forge to calculate reheats but it does it well. I like taking steps to full extraction at times.

Edit: Tried it with stopper up as you suggested. Your settings and using cascade mode for one reheat equaled nice dark avb. Got clicks after both heat cycles. Perfect setting on Forge at the moment for me.

Awesome! I’m glad you enjoy it. I don’t normally do a reheat, I’m always 1 and done, so I’m glad it’s working well for you with those consecutive heat cycles using those settings

I've found 1600 @90% was a bit light and needed closer to 1770 or 1800@ 90%
I also am packing thr bowl tight tho, need to try with a looser pack

I definitely urge everyone to experiment and find what’s best for YOU. I just want to provide a starting point! I’m glad you’re exploring and playing with different settings. I really wanted this thing to simply be a vehicle and allow the user to be the Driver, allowing you to achieve whatever desired outcome your in the mood for at the time.

I'm really enjoying it, excited for an xl.version because my tolerance is fucked and I refuse to do a T break.
Love just how fast it heats up too.
Keep up the good work

In my head I keep calling it the STED.

Agreed with what others are saying about how impressive the device is; I got the head + adapter and put it on a Ti MVS, which is a great-looking combination. I haven't done back-to-back bowls on it, but no issues with heat transfer from a single bowl.

I've mostly used it with the Wand with a Tempest adapter, but with the adapter pushed up farther to reduce the amount of heat applied directly to the bowl, and let the clicks guide me. Impressive flavor and very even AVB (except for the one time I set the adapter much lower in the Wand, which resulted in a scorched top). I'll try out the Forge next.
