if this taste is from being purged at too high of a temp that is A+ news for me! If anyone can confirm that'd be perfect. Even tho the taste is gross i mainly just do not want to smoke on nasty solvents or impurities, edibles are a nice idea but out of the question just because of a personal stomach condition

Well you could always make coconut oil capsules and if your stomach still can't handle them, maybe your asshole can? I've yet to try it myself but I hear it works better for bio-availability and Tommy Chong even medicates that way now.

Yeah I would recommend turning all crappy non dab-able oil into capsules or just decarbing it (RSO) and putting a dab of that RSO under your tongue or on food you already eat (that settles well with your stomach).

@Monsoon, I thought I remember reading somewhere that suppositories lessen the high of cannabis oil. IIRC the suppository method is used more for patients with cancer that need to get large amounts of oil in their body (1-2g per day) but don't want to feel high out of their fucking mind or just can't handle ingesting 1-2g per day.

I know if I ate an edible with 1-2g of wax in it I'd be fucked. Wayyyyy to high, probably dizzy and puking from the spins. However, if I needed to get that much oil in my body for medicinal purposes, I would definitely go the suppository route.

In my opinion if there isn't enough butane for the dab to sizzle, there's no way in hell there's enough to make such an overpoweringly bad flavor. Dabs kinda taste bad if they are purged hot so it could be that.

Well Dnail has came up with 3 excuses now for not sending out my carb cap, so i have been running my SiC Dish a little hotter than normal at around 775 degrees F. I read a good temp for the SiC Dish is at around 600 degrees but without a carb cap there is just too much vapor loss at that temp for me.

Can the 775 degrees be the cause of the awful taste?

I know what butane taste like and this is different. More like of a rubber taste

Liquids are my main source of nutrition. I did research the suppositories. From my research and if my findings are correct. It is true there is more bio availability (up to 70%) VS swallowing (up to 20%) VS smoking ( up to 10-25%)

BUT it effects you differently, like said. Even though you do absorb a lot more of the medicine. There is no cerebral/head high with this process. It focuses more on the physical body pain/problems.

Sublingual under the tongue might be another option, that would bypass the stomach and go straight into the bloodstream. Taste isn't the greatest though, probably on par with dabbing it.

Not gonna use the concentrates this time for it but I'm still definitely going to give that process a try with regular canna caps (taste reasons like mentioned) and see if i can get the desired edible effects I've always missed out on

Doesnt look over cooked. Thatt would make it dark and runny. I had some stuff that looked good but it was blown with fan leaves and had a bad chemical taste. Nutrition doesnt flush as well from the leaves.

@tepictoton I have been looking into skunk pharm hao because a friend of mine who has a chewing tobacco addiction has a weird patch of skin on his lip. He was afraid it was cancer when he also found a couple lumps in his neck, turned out to be swollen liphnodes from an ear infection.
Ive been wondering what would be better if there was gum cancer HAO or canna caps. I read they dont decarb theres, do you?

Just wiping down your nail with a q tip at a low temp to remove left over residue. Some people do it between every dab, every couple dabs, or every once in a while lol. It's just personal preference on how clean of a nail you want to dab on.
