Saw Bobby Weir & The Wolf Bros with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday night.

Kicked off with just the orchestra, a tune called Grateful Overture (iirc), then the band came out and started with Truckin'. A great Sugar Magnolia, and an absolutely amazing Terrapin suite, and a rocking Hell In A Bucket to name a few tunes. Overall, a really interesting show.

Thanks to coolbreeze for originally turning me on to the GD cover of How Long Blues found on the 7/14/70 show above. It’s a different How Long Blues from the more known one done by many greats. This 1970 version is sung and played beautifully by Jerry. It’s a hidden gem of a song in GD history, played only a handful of times.

yeah that was a good show.. 6/17/25 Set 2 is another standout as is the columbus show with a really nice cyclone/jigsaw earth
