Whaaaat?!!! I can't believe it!! I just searched the entire forum & found that there was no dread' thread already in existence! :(

We can't be having that! :p

So here we are, and in my opinion, this thread really needs no further introduction.

Suffice it to say, if it's reggae related, post it here!

I'm gonna kick things off with some NICE tunes . . . I hope you enjoy as I do . . . . .

C'mon & take us to your dance, show-off your soundsystems, share your knowledge & let us hear your favourite riddims! :D

^^^BIG tunes @h3rbalist!!!

Lovin' the selection! :D

Man, under mi sleng teng has been reworked soooooo many times! Love it everytime.

Classic.

Keep it coming brother

This next tune is coming from a the Iration Steppas - The Vanguard of Dub. And when these guys bring thier system to your venue, prepare for some intense, very heavy bass that'll very well make you wanna puke.

No joke. Raw sound.
As with all these tunes, if you can, hook it up to your home system for some true appreciation . . .

Much Love

I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too
Someone needs to post up a slang dictionary for some of these terms.

edit

actually its really messed up what happened to Smiley Culture.

Dirty lying pigs say that while he was under arrest and his home was being raided he 'stabbed himself whilst making a cup of tea'.

Still no justice,
... its fucking shameful.

Ha! Good call @h3rbalist! ;)

Absolutely priceless!

Skooled by Smiley Culture. I'll definitely take that :)

On to some Carlton Livingston now, a living legend. I absolutely love this tune, I feel we're all just kinda trodding through the jungle, with chalice in hand . . .

^^^Nice1 @bellas! :D

Lovin' 'If a tree could talk' - Conscious sounds from the Man Vivian Jones.

And well, I think we might just stay with Vivian for another tune, live in the studio this time - with a message which I'm sure resonates throughout this forum . . . . . Legalize GANJA! The good good Marijuana! . . . ;)
And on to a classic tune from John Holt . . . I feel it!

I'm feeling the NYC stuff today..
Welcome @jim-bob :)

I'm feelin' that too man! Lovin every one . . . and Horace Andy the man!!!

On to a Zion Dub now from a man who many consider created the concept of the remix - a true Master, tragically lost - King Tubby . . .

And now some more wicked sounds from the UK in the form of Deemas J and Wrongtom . . .

So closing this short selection we have Horace Ferguson with his debut release from 1987 . . . tell it like it is Horace . . .

I'm gonna start proceedings off today with a favourite from Willie Williams - it's 'Armagideon Time' . . . . classic!

And movin' on to some Scientist with a track taken from the album 'Dubbin with Horns'. . . .
. . . maaaaan I love dem horns! Such a commanding sound.

Some haunting female vocals now from the African Princess on a dub track written & produced by the awesome Jah Shaka - we bring you 'Jah Children Cry' . . .

Finally, I'm gonna get my 'cover' on & move things forward into 2003 to bring you a clever reworking of Pink Floyds most classic of albums - 'Dark Side of the Moon'. This is a tribute by the Easy Star All-Stars - prepare yourself for 'Dub Side of the Moon'! In it's entirety.

I hope you ain't got shit to do . . . .

OneLove! :)
