That pic does show the yellowing I was talking about.
I got yellowing after 2 days again, I checked the water at the beginning of the sesh on the 2nd day, and it was still pink, starting to have a hint of yellow, and by the end of the night, it was yellow with a hint of pink.
For me it's a bit of a moot point whether its OK to keep using it when it's yellow, by the time it gets yellow, it stacks too high in the fritter, and I need to replace the water anyway.
I still think its odd that it only seems to happen with my fritters.
Has anyone else had the yellowing with a non-fritter piece?
I'll have to do some testing with smaller pieces eventually

I poured out the water and the Rez Ball came out intact. It was sort of like a beach ball filled with water and deflated down to a firm brown resin looking substance. It was not very sticky but did contain some oil when roasted. It is organic, but I don't believe it is biological. I've never seen any organism like that. There was no growth anywhere else and no odd smell. I have seen smaller Rez Balls form in my other glassware, but never just one big ball. It is the strangest thing.
The water always turns yellow when it is time to change no matter what glassware I use. It is a nice visual reminder.

You water turns to brown in a couple of pulls ? It's oxidation. You may want to try another source of water, with a lower PH.
Since a couple months I had no time to make my distilled water so I have been using bottled water for a while. Depending on the brand you get different reactions. Try it ! I have found bottled water with a PH low as 5.85 ; the color using it with nace is nothing comparable to when I pour evian, what I'm used to drink, PH 7.20. Its pink vs brown. I even use less nace.

Hygiene update: I have been experimenting with nascent iodine to keep the solution from growing things. I use 1 drop of 2% Magnascent Iodine tincture/150 ml and it seems to be working. Any more than that and the taste gets funky. This is much more cost effective than silver hydrosol, I will speak with my physician regarding any potential harm when I see him next, but I take this stuff orally and at the dilution rate I foresee no problems . . .

Been using rezblock for a week now. Not bad, but I kind of feel like I'm a putting clear pink plastic covering over my favorite couch... Ha. Meh.

I've found I enjoy using rez block with the first water fill up after cleaning, and then not using rezblock for the next fill-up or two. Alternating back and forth!
The rez block residue on the glass still seems to work a little when I refill it with regular distilled water.

Told some other vapes about the NACE and one of em picked this product up and asked me if it was the same, it is exactly the same thing.
I do use NACE and enjoy its stack'n capabilities, keeps the glass clean,.I usually dump mine out the next morn'n and fill er up again around 2-3oclock pm, so it never really gets to accumulate,and most rigs I own have very small amounts of liquid so I see the need to rid that nastiness 1x every 24 hrs. I feel "hey your putting that vapor in your lungs that just ran thru some nasty filter media
" ? To each his own but I had lung CA so I figure its not a great deal of expense (maybe for some who do have a lot of rigs and switch from rig to rig hour by hour and nothing wrong with thatone day I shall be so endowed
). But for now small amount of distilled water and a few drops of NACE and back to so fresh and so clean.heres one for ya,
we used to try to smoke a few OZ's of what was around thru science class WT big beakers 1000ml and thistle tubes.When at least a 1/4lb had gone thru this monster,dripping and oozing of shit,we would take the water and either one guy would lose a round of rock,paper scissors and have to drink it down....OR we would infuse weed into the fluid and allow it to evaporate and we would be left what we used to call HOCKEY PUCK, the most nasty,foul smelling,tasting like ass shit a young punk from the 70's could smoke.You got destroyed, not sure if it was the dope or the pathogens that infested this science experiment,am I glad I moved on and found this place!!!!
PS ....LOL my girl just said after reading this, "you got the lung CA from smoking that haz mat crap called HOCKEY PUCK.........

I love the rezblock concentrate! But I find you don't have to use anywhere near as much as they tell you to. I use one drop in my pinnacle tube, and two drops in my full-size honeycomb tube, and you can't even see the pink color! But you still get the increase in bubbles/frothiness, and the liquid turns yellow not the glass. I wasn't fond of seeing everyone's glass with pink stuff either:

hahah sorry, I couldn't help myself. But on the real, that yeast smell is just wrong, interesting idea. (referring to rezblock, not underwear). hahahaha. It shows up in my rezbocked water after 24 hours. However, my house is a serious bread-baking house.... Lots of yeast in the air..

Depends on what you mean by rarely and what your usage pattern is like, but I would guess no. RezBlock or NACE will get loaded up and exhausted over a couple days. It will turn color and start to smell kinda stale like bong water but not as bad. I really recommend for people that want to leave the same fluid in for extended periods of time (like weeks on end) to just use water.
I'm actually doing an iodine final rinse on all my glass now when I clean it. I'm noticing an increase in my glass hygiene overall.
However there are a couple things I wanna get straight regarding iodine. Just because I am telling you what "I do" doesn't mean I am telling anyone else what "to do" or offering advice of any kind. I am not a doctor and would never advise anyone to inhale or drink anything. Making Lugol's solution, SSKI (super saturated solution of potassium iodide), or iodine tinctures Nascent or otherwise, or obtaining the ingredients for such is also an "at your own risk" proposition seeing as how iodine is a meth precursor and is controlled by the DEA. I make my own 5% Lugol's because you can't buy it in a store any more, however I digress . . .
The importance of iodine for life is not to be underestimated. It has been systematically eliminated from our diets and lives by design. Other halides from the environment like chlorine, bromine, fluoride etc displace iodine in the body. I'm gonna mix up some SSKI and continue my experiments, maybe one day I'll start an iodine thread as I am starting to see how very useful iodine is beyond personal health, nuclear fallout emergencies, water sanitation, and the barn yard.

I wonder how toxic vapor water could get? Unlike combustion, there should mostly be oils in the water, unless some ABV dust makes it's way through.
I'm hooked to Rezblock. I've only went rezblock naked twice in 6 months and I've regretted it both times. One session and that goop is everywhere.
Thanks again for introducing us to Rezblock. Just curious, for the sake of history, around what date did 420 Science launch there new forumula?

iirc . . . it was right before the beginning of the year. I made a Christmas video and had both the old (green) and new (red) formulas on hand for holiday colors . . .

It's really the same as the nature's answer, maybe a little more fluid. I just opened the second bottle of theses this morning. Last night I gave the first one that was almost empty to a friend, so he can try it.
I have been scaling. You need around .28g (8 drops) for a normal piece, for my larger pieces or my recycler I use up to twice more, and like .14 (4 drops) for a little one.
You get a nice pinkish color (red is too much, it has to be light or it gets counter productive imo) and an optimal anti stick effect. Bottles are one oz so that's like 100+ water changes out of a $5 bottle.
Btw I never got the nace from iherb, and they never did anything but bullshitting in their answers to my questions about the parcel, like I enjoy throwing money in the toilets. Worst service, go somewhere else.
