I recently figured i have a lot of almost empty cartridges. so i thought putting them all in a saucepan filled with hot water, and then use a glass syringe recover the oil bubbles that swim to the surface, just filling it up and slowly squeezing it to release the water, may be a good idea to recover the wax.
it works pretty well, as when the syringe is filled up to the top, the oil swims up and sticks to the glass, when the water is released, so the concentrate is what stays in the syringe and thus can be easily separated with this process.
Now my question. the cartridges are all original Ccells. But do i have to worry, that the Wax i recovered may be unsuitable to use or possibly a helath concern? i figured if i add back some terps, should be good. but also the wax somehow seems like it is hydrolyzed or became some how an emulsion with traces of water that are left and trapped, so its is less translucent. would be happy for any insight full thoughts.
