Fucking Combustion (mostly) Since February 2017
Just received this steamroller from GRAV today. Been running it through it's motions with a few of my vapes, and I am very happy with the flavorful and huge hits it provides...for when I'm in a dry mood...

This thing is heavy and thick. I love it, and when you want break your water rotation with tasty dry-hits instead, it's awesome!

All you need to do is check out the past discussions about diffusion pumps here in FC :)... Here is a post by @MarcellusWiley describing how it operates from a few years ago:

I have also been playing with the water levels and I am discovering that you do not need to fill the bong with water up to the neck / pipe opening (like in most videos I have seen showing the diffusion pump in action) for the ball based diffuser to work. Even with the water level as low as in the pic below, the diffuser still works (ball that lets the water into the pipe from the hole beneath it rattles). Having even less water probably will result in even more flavor being retained albeit with some additional harshness.

Note that with the water at this low a level, the diffuser (indicated by the rattling of the ball) only works if the air intake is restricted, in this case by the vapcap. :tup:

@MasonJar, while admiring your delicious induction heater and diffusion pump bubbler, my eye was drawn to your magnificent cat. Is she a Russian Blue? He seems fairly intent upon your bubbler, but then so am I. It's on my short list, but patiently waiting until May and the new mj budget for the month. I just became the happy owner of a VapCap so I will be looking into items that go with, and that often leads back to your inspiration. Love the bubbler. Can't wait to try one.

@Madri-Gal... She is a Russian Blue (according to the vet that neutered her). Her name is Mia and she is one of three Feral cats we adopted from the neighborhood colony of feral cats. The neighbors were starting to get agitated with this colony so we took advantage of the trap and neuter campaign of the govenrnment to get most of them neutered for free. The gov lent us free traps but we had to take the trapped cats to the vet two or three at a time. Many others were adopted by neighbors after we set them free again in the neighborhood after they were neutered. Around half a dozen of those that were not adopted are still being fed by me and at least two other neighbors.

Below is a pic of Mia and her sister Marble which is a Tortoise Shell. Mia appears to enjoy the smell of cannabis and is always around when I light up the vapcaps in the kitchen beside the stove range hood. :)

Here is the colony before we trapped and had them neutered... Only around six remain outside in the neighborhood... Many of the others were adopted. :tup:

It really surprised me how much I liked it when it first arrived. If it didn't get such a high rating on chinaglass I probably would have passed over it. I hadn't owned a bong since my combustion days and they never had crazy percs like the Seed of Life. CCG has it made being the only copycat.

I have not tried the Fab Egg, only the 9" CCG Straight Fab (actual height measures 8"). The downside with CCG pieces right now is they all appear to have increased in price. Also you might find that you will have the same issue with this piece as your 7" CCG Oil rig... The Dynavap might be uncomfortably close to your face in use. I am using a Ddavemods Water Wand V2 that ends up being shorter than the regular vapcaps when inserted to this piece so I am not bothered by this. The 8" Straight Fab uses the same SOL perc as your 7" Oil rig with the addition of the Straight Fab unit for further cooling the vapor.

Great advise! My experience with Chilliums and vapcap tips is that the diameter does vary. I have two Grav Chilliums and one is an excellent fit with my vapcap Ti tip while the other is loose.

Another tip I can give is you can use o-rings or heat shrink tubing (typically from electronic stores) as "adapters" on the vapcaps or chilliums to get these to fit 14mm joints. I find both hacks make for a tighter seal with a 14mm joint than the dynavap rubber mouthpiece.

Here is how I fit both the o-rings and heat shrink tubing... Three layers of heat shrink tubing on the chillium:
