Had a long (never long enough) convo with RBT, super excited to see this project grow. I’m always on board with anything RBT makes, Ive had nearly every iteration of most of the vapes he’s made...3-4 splinters, Splinter Z, Zion, 3 Milaanas, Milaana 2, Sliver...idk how he keeps putting these out but goddam do I like them.
Splinter Z has been my top pick since I received it. I’ve tried a lot of great vapes since then...most are being sold now. Nothing really competes that I’ve tried, just for my own personal wants and needs.
The thing that keeps me looking for new vapes, is I just want a normal damn vape, yaknow. No complex stem system, no weird piece of wood screwed onto another mod made from a different company, no using fingers to throttle airflow as I spin in circles and say 3 Hail Marys ... I just want a normal vape. I want to take it to my friends place and be like, hey look it’s a vape (my friends think I smoke weed from a pepper shaker). I want it easy to use, it even has a button to turn it on and off (shoutout to guitar pick mod).
Point is, RBT doesn’t make normal vapes. If the performance wasn’t great, it wouldn’t be worth it. He knows how to get superb, full bodied thick hits to the lungs...and that’s what he sticks with. RBT doesn’t create vapes that find the consumer, but a vape the consumer searches for. If you’re here, chances are you were looking for an experience you weren’t quite able to find elsewhere.
But that brings me to another point everyone here at FC understands. If you want amazing vape performance, things have to get weird. You get weird ass fuckin designs, torching rituals (what even are you Vapman...) or absurd vapes to get that absolute perfect hit of vapor that proves to us it is the dominant form of consuming cannabis (looking at you lsv, flowerpot...).
Where am I going with this? Short and simple, we need RBT to be our savior and create a normal vape with his signature quality of vapor. Just something to load and rip without massive trade offs. Problem is, is the technology there to pull it off without absurd costs for R&D.
Either way, I’m sure I’ll love whatever is brewing and it’s always a joy watching ideas progress.
P.S. I logged on simply to make a post saying I was following the thread. Oops
