Just a quick update for all of you who pre-ordered or those of you international preorders waiting on a shipping quote. By this time next week, i should have glass on hand to ship. There was a misunderstanding on my end as to when it would be finished. 2nd Week of September is technically this week but last week was not a full September week, so please bare with me a few more days while we wrap up production. We obviously don't want to rush it.

I hope to have everything shipped by this time next week or Saturday morning at the latest.

I apologize for the few days delay and look forward to everyone's feedback on the Glassware.

For the rest reading the thread and waiting on this glass, the bulk order is enroute to our fulfillment center it may arrive today (waiting for tracking to update with a scan at the local post office) or should definitely be here tomorrow. Tomorrow the local Post Office is only open to noon, so I will likely inventory everything and do a QA check and ship US orders Monday.

International folks that I've been in private conversation with, please pass along your PayPal email address if you haven't already and I'll prepare a shipping quote. Also for you international folks (or others waiting on glass within the US and want to save on shipping), we are adding some new products to the shop:

• Mendo Mulchers in 3 sizes w/ screen (3", 2.25", and 1.75") & 4 sizes in 2 piece (1.5", 1.75", 2.25", 3").
  
• Vitality Glassware (Miron glass) in 5ml, 15ml, 30ml, 50ml, 100ml, 200ml.
  
• Last but not least Doob Tubes in the regular size are also inbound (black opaque tube with green cap). After evaluating them, they work great with the TopHat, they are US Made. These arrive Wednesday in bulk. Thanks to the member who mentioned them to me via PM.

We plan on throwing a Doob Tube into every order we ship complimentary and will offer them in bulk via the shop as well. Lots going on suddenly and we are anxious to expand what we offer via our shop. There won't be many more additions to the inventory from other makers or other vaporizers beyond the Milaana (and the Zion once that ball starts moving again).

I started distributing Miron Glass within hours of coming across it in 2010 at the Vapor Room in San Francisco. Vitality Glassware deserves many kudos for being the OG & being the first to sell this glass empty as previously it was only sold with products inside via retail. The brand was MMJars (now defunct as the project manager moved on) as a spin off from their home/kitchen decor centric Violiv brand (now Vitality). Today you'll see this glass under an array of names in the industry.

PS: Yesterday I had the chance of letting another Milaana vaporist try the TopHat and Stem beta run and they were quite happy with the ABV evenness, the heat transfer to the TopHat compared to the entire outerwall of the stem (it still gets hot, but not quite as hot) and the concept in general.

Thanks for the quick reply to my "too medicated to make sense" plea. What I really wanted to ask about was the possibility of a "slim" style 18/14 without the built in glass screen, just the Tophat. Can that be done, or are there technical issues? I use little nuggets and often through water so I'm not that worried about fine particles making it through. Not the biggest fan of cleaning built in glass screens though. Thanks again and sorry for being a p.i.t.a.

Does the 100mL fit a quarter? And is it possible to get them without the logo?

To all the folks getting the TopHats and glass stems and GonGs. When using these with the stems, you want to draw harder enough that the TopHat "clicks" into the glass screen in the short or medium stem or the taper in the "Slim" stems. If you aren't drawing hard and using draw while holding in hand, try tipping the unit back, like drinking from a beer bottle while drawing to lock and hold the TopHat in place. This isolates the heat and directs the air through the TopHat rather than around it.

When using with a GonG, this step really isn't needed as gravity is doing the work for you. Tried the 18:14 this morning myself and it worked pretty well on a medium grind and TopHat filled 1/3 full. Had to draw fairly lightly via the water.

Top hat is ~1/3 full. The top hat is perfect for people who like to microdose. I got a nice medium brown abv after 2 nice rips. The built in screen and top hat will just make it that much easier to clean in the future. Also get to save a few since I never have to buy replacement mesh screens.

I received my order about a week ago, what a fantastic bit of kit! I ordered 2x18.8mm slims, a 18.8mm screened gong and 3 top hats. Everything came well packed and arrived safely.
The 3 top hats came in a doob tube which is perfect for carrying them around, great quality and feels pretty strong.

Now onto the actual glass!
All of the pieces i received are well crafted and clean, everything fitting perfectly from the joints to the tophats. So far i have only used these pieces with a water tool, and am yet to try them dry. However even through water the flavour is significantly improved. From the first day of receiving my MI i was impressed with the flavour it delivered and with these new pieces the flavour is definitely increased!

Micro dosing with the top hats is simple and effective, the top hats can get hot so make sure you have somewhere safe to place them for emptying and in between loads.

Obviously with using whole nug's there is a trade off between clouds and vapour and i do feel that the trade off is worth it when that full flavour hits you in the face! lol
Admittedly I'm a bit of a cloud chaser but the screened gong and slim with top hat combination get used as daily flavour treats. Having said all of that i am yet to fill the gong fully up (due to limited supply) and can see that it fully loaded would create decent clouds and rather intense flavour.

Ultimately i feel these pieces increase the versatility of the already very adept Mi and should be a consideration to anyone already owning a Milaana. If your after the best taste/flavour possible then i would say they are essential for your arsenal

FYI to anyone else reading the thread. More glass is in production and everything is up for sale at 420EDC again. We expect our resupply to be at our fulfillment center next week and shipping will resume on the 17th for any items like the GonGs or Short Slim stems that were out of stock.

I tried, the capsule for the Milaana is a lot bigger than the FW4 capsule. From what I remember the capsule for the Milaana is about the same diameter as the FW4 mouthpiece. Around 14mm I would say.

@cannabis.pro did say he was going to make capsules with the glass screen for the FW4 when he can get his hands on one. Can you start making a list now? Because Im in on that. lol
