Question about using degummed hemp in a MV

I’m new to using material to soak up concentrate. I tried organic cotton didn’t work well.

I found this though:

Yes, degummed hemp fiber is one of the things we use as a "wick" for concentrates in a dry vaporizer. Take a bit of concentrate, wrap it in the degummed hemp fiber then insert into the oven.

Start at a very low temp like 310F to melt the concentrate so it will "wick up" into the hemp fiber.

Note - the degummed hemp fiber will impart a slight "earthy" flavor to the vapor.

Second the feedback provided prior regarding flavor. Not offensive but will likely change flavor of product
