Arizer does warranty Solos purchased on eBay. You referenced the Cera, did you mean Solo? Also, I'm very certain that the Solo would outperform the puffit X on all fronts , but stealth.

Yeah sorry, was probably using the cera when i made that post. .

And its all about preference. What may perform well for you. May not suite my needs. And vice versa.

Dont get me wrong the Solo is a great vape. But it isnt really that great unless you have the PVHE stems or GonGs. IMO And the seperate glass and bulky size is a killer. I broke so many stems simply being clumsy while trying to load or reload it .

Personally, I feel I get better performance from my solo using the original stems that come with it, I've only broken one stem, it was my own fault. I own a few portables, nothing has out preformed it, I still think I want the puffit x tho...

My Puffit-X arrived today.
The unit came nicely packaged.

Here is the Puffit-X on the included charging/ display stand. And the carrying case

I never used the original puffit but the optional stirring piece has been replaced with a spring in the cap.

Puffit size next to standard asthma inhaler.

My initial thoughts.
I cleaned all the parts with iso before first use. I have put one load through so far. Taste will hopefully improve as there is somewhat of a silicone flavor.
It is easy to use with or without the fan.
To use with the fan, depress top down 3 seconds. Release. Wait for light to turn green then depress top again this engages the fan.
To use without fan,depress top down 3 seconds. Release. Wait for light to turn green then inhale slowly.

The abv was a lighter brown than expected from the highest #8 (430°F) heat setting but was uniformed in color.
Mine started to produce visible vapor at heat setting #5 and I preferred the fan speed on #1 setting.
Also the fan becomes quite noisy after the #3 setting.
Will report back with more later after much testing.

I got my Puffit X from GV just before the weekend. Used it two times so far. I had a bit of the silicone taste on the first use but didn't really taste it on the second. Did a full ISO cleaning before and after each use. It does seem to produce more vapor than the original puffit. The fan seems to do something more but I'm not entirely sure given how little I have used it. It got my friend and I plenty medicated and in the grand scheme of things that's all that matters I suppose. I'll use it some more this evening and get some more concrete impressions. The biggest difference other than the fan is the bowl size. Much smaller than the original. Weight and overall size seems to be the same.

As far as portables go, I have, or have had, a Vapir n02 (my first portable, got clogged quickly and never provided much smoke), Whspr (decent portable, but eventually broke down), Magic Flight (def the best bang for buck, but it's no "premium" portable vape), and Thermovape (most expensive, and most useless... It does oil, wax and loose leaf, but it does them all terribly). I am hoping that the Puffit-X vape will finally be a portable that is worth the purchase.

I heard from many places that the Solo is the best portable vape, or at least best bang for your buck, as you can get them for ~130. But the issue that the Solo does have is that it is hard to pull vapor through the glass tube that goes in your mouth, and I am very sensitive to that, which is also why I felt the forced fan in the Puffit-X may work well for me. I also have an Extreme Q, and I liked it, but I ended up getting a Volcano, and even that I'm not 100% happy with. I have used a lot of vapes, but there are really none that I would enthusiastically recommend.

Thank you tho... I also hope it works. I'm most worried about the residual smell/taste.

that is what made me sell my original PuffiT. it worked ok. battery life sucked but i kept it on a charger 90% of the time. stealth was great. i hit it while standing in line for a bathroom in a restaurant. just the "heated snorkel" taste never went away.

After using my Puffit-X, I found that if you have moist bud, you can cycle the device once at temp setting 1 without using the fan or sucking in vapor. Then when you start at 6 or so, there is a much thicker vapor, especially when you up it to ~8 to finish it.

Well it has been awhile so I need to update.
1. After many 30+ uses there is still a silicone flavor. But it has been decreasing ever slightly.
2 Battery life could be better I get 2 or sometimes close to 3 sessions which are about 8~10 minutes each.
3. A initial preheat as 918_Spyder suggests greatly improves vapor production. I usually preheat 1 cycle on 3 then vape for awhile on 6~8
If you keep cycling it after the auto shut-off it also keeps vapor production higher(this is probably the culprit of short running time)
4. Charging time is decent about 2½ hours total. With 80% being available after a hour with the included wall rapid charger.
5. I would like to be able to use it while it is charging but you can not.
6. The fan is nice I have adjusted it to between 3½ and 4. I now enjoy it at the higher output more than I initially did.
7. Bottom line
With the marginal flavor that this portable makes along with the short run time it makes it a ok vape. I would reccomend it over say a atmos raw as this is a true vaporizer. But for the cost imho I believe there are more affordable better tasting, longer running options in the market place just my

I agree with most of what 1_gr8_underdog has said. The flavor isn't fantastic but I have tasted worse. I don't have any of the plastic taste or maybe I just don't notice it. It definitely puts out more vapor than the original puffit. The fan can be kinda loud around level 5 but not irritatingly loud. It is a good unit, you definitely feel medicated after using it battery life isn't bad but it isn't in the same class as a solo or pinnacle pro. If you can get it on sale I recommend it. It will probably be the vape I use when I want to be quite stealthy in public.

I ask what's wrong with 4x longer battery ? No heated snorkel or silicone taste and has a variety of attachments such as turbo tubes and water attachments and that does oil? The solo!!

So while I was using it last night the fan broke. I've used it daily for around 18 days. I contacted customer support last night, and they responded today with the return instructions. There team appears to be professional, and are willing to make it right. I will update more on my experience with there customer support as I go through the return process.

Just ordered one for shits and gigs along with the magic flight pa 2.0 for my box so even If the puffit lets me down I still look forest to taking flight with the pa, hopefully the puffit doesn't let me down to much

I recieved my puffit-x today. The chamber is much much smaller now, really small, I can fit more in the pinnacle. I saw the pics here but irl it's even more noticable for me.

@mmenzie : for me the taste is fine, i get a slight minty taste but it's only the second session (each just a few minutes) so I expect the taste to go away.

I liked the puffit and didn't mind the taste that much but here there is hardly any taste.

It produces alot of vapor, really alot for the small amount you can load.
two negatives I can think of for now is that you have to push pretty hard on the top cap to keep the fan running, maybe a little bit too hard for some and the second is the noice of the fan...
I'm sure a few people won't use the fan because from 4 and up it really sounds like a dentist drill...

I've only tested twice, the first time, the taste I liked it, it was not bad, but the second time had a plastic flavor. Maybe the second time I tested a new unit, and the first time was a unit with several uses. I need to test more to write a better opinion.

My replacement arrived today. They (discreetvape) refunded me for shipping, after providing a picture of the mailing receipt by email. The replacement was delayed in the mail center in Hong Kong, and was returned to the manufacture? Which I was able to verify through the tracking # I was provided. They sent me a update on the status explaining the shipping situation and said They had shipped it overnight through a diffrent carrier. Provided me with a new tracking#. They included alot of extras (around $34.00 worth) to compensate for the delay. I am very pleased with there customer service. Hope this one lasts longer than one month.
