Damn 80 bucks is nice....
It doesn't really lock into the housing. It is more wedged into the housing so I guess it's kind of just held in by "friction". If you hold it upside down for a little while it will fall out.Just grabbed one cant wait for it to arrive
by the way does the battery/oven lock in to the plastic housing and how do you see the led?
back to savin up for dat arizer air, hopfully puffit2 will serve its purpose until then
I have one question.
Does the P2 shut down or turn off the power after each hit making it a true one hit then put it away and not worry about it until the next hit kind of vape (like engaging the battery on a mf or palm 2) ? TIA.
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks for all these indications on how the puffit 2 performs. I gather that this unit is much improved over previous versions and could be a contender for a portable on the go unit.
So Vapehunter would you say that the puffit 2 is a solid "one hitter" device?
This following statement is very misleading. I don't know why it is even part of the Puffit2 description on the Gotvape website.
"PUFFiT 2 Portable Vaporizer Automatic Shut Off
A 3-minute automatic shut off safety feature is built into the PUFFiT 2 Portable Vaporizer ......."
I don't believe there to be any 3-min. automatic shut off. Now that we have that out of the way let's answer your question.
From what I have experienced, Yes, the Puffit2 turns off after every hit or roughly 12 seconds after every hit. Let me try to explain by breaking down a typical session.
To start the Vaporizer you compress it for about 5-7 seconds. This begins a series of short "heart beat" like vibrations after about 30-45 seconds two long vibrations will let you know that the proper temp has been reached. For 12 seconds the red L.E.D. will be lit up and you will not be able to start the "heat up / vibration sequence". After 12 seconds the red L.E.D. will turn off. I believe at this point the heater is now off so again you must compress the Vaporizer to start the "heat up / vibration sequence". This usually goes on for another 10 - 15 hits before I stop seeing vapor. I hope that helps and doesn't confuse you to much.
Anyone know if I Can you charge the P2 battery with something like An ipod or ecig (TVape) USB plug-in transformer thing ?
The sole USB port on my computer isn't so useful if I'm not sitting using it because it goes to sleep every 15 minutes and shuts off the port (kind of a pain in the ass).
So far I've done 5 chambers with the P2 (came in yesterdays mail) and am rather impressed with it's design and function, it does have a bit of a plastic taste and smell from the inhaler body but I'm pretty sure that'll mostly be gone with more use, cleaning and just plain airing out the body over time (at least i hope so).
Right now I believe this will fill the needs I bought it for, mainly for pulling off a quick few hits while waiting in parking lots as I play chauffeur carting people to doctors and shopping a few times a week.
This little thing works pretty well if your not chasing clouds, so far so good. It'll be Better when I can charge it from the wall though.
...
They say don't use any other usb other than supplied it voids warranty or something @RUDE BOY
Edit: fail on my part I thought you said a usb from a ecig lol
