My SH piece showed up yesterday and I put it through a handful of sessions... I'm not super fond of it.

The flavor is noticably improved to where I don't think it can get much better, but vapor production is kinda shit. The air inlet slot is not cut at any angle to promote cyclonic action and was cheaply done as a straight cut up into the bottom. It was done poorly so there is a small indention on the opposite side at the bottom which is kind of sharp.

The shape on the bottom is pretty awful too and nowhere close to a proper circle. It's harder to put in than I think is intended, but still isn't THAT difficult and only takes a couple of seconds.

My main gripe remains with the vapor production. I have a lot of oil left over and find myself pulling it off to run a second session since I don't think it's spinning the air effectively to push the oil toward the walls.

The stock mouthpiece is markedly more comfortable and effective to use for me... I may try another piece from Zee but yeah I'm glad this cost me less than $20.

I would recommend passing on this one. I'm probably tossing it.

Yeah this is something I was worried about with a lot of these tips. Not a big fan of silicone, but the stock cap sorta acts like a mini j-hook so the vapor needs to bend, and the radiant heat is shooting towards the sky instead of your mouth.

I'll give mine a try on Friday. Good thing it wasn't expensive.

I realized I forgot to include a picture of how poor the shaping of the glass was at the bottom. You can also see the notch on the opposite side indicating laziness in the final product IMO. Simple Human, indeed....

What annoys me is the picture on the site was a slanted cut. I've been bamboozled

Edit: I reached out to SH to express my issues and concerns and will let y'all know what I hear back

I tried the SH stem last night.

Thankfully, mine was round, and it fit properly.

I tried a few bowls of different live resins.

I feel that mine has too much air flow.

The air flow from the stock mouthpiece is better.

The taste is better through the SH stem.

Unrelated to the stems, there appears to be a gap near the top of the bowl.

I now have reclaim seeping out. I'm giving the bowl an overnight soak to help mitigate this.

Probably from putting too much in the bowl, or drawing too hard.

Just a few observations so far.

Has anyone made a glass tip that recreates the j-hook format of the stock setup?

Not sure what you mean, are the ones from HMK Glass not this?? Seemed so to me...

I don't know. The ones I've seen look like straight glass tubes. If the HMK glass models the stock vapor path that's cool.

Maybe go even further and have a topper that literally looks like:

like a little bendy straw

Yes that's exactly what they HMK ones look like... I shared them here pretty early on in the thread, and you can see them on his Instagram, he makes hydro tubes now as well though those are straight so far

Update:

After giving the bowl an iso bath for several hours, I no longer have reclaim building up at the bottom of the cup.

It still smells a little terpy up close.

Now he even made bubbler tube with bent straw mouthpiece:

So to those who recommended i contact Puffco about my Chazzed chamber I do have an update.

Puffco is sending a replacement chamber to me. in the instructions from Puffco they did say to try and clean the chamber. I did dunk it for almost a week before i sent and a lot of the Chazz disappeared but it did seem like there was scratches in the side wall of the chamber. Mind you i never used anything besides a q-tip.

However after dunking my chamber won't work at all. It just flashes white lights. If i get any other news from Puffco or my replacement chamber i will report.

I am keeping a close eye on my other chamber everything seems fine.

thank you everyone!!

I'm hoping to see different colored silicone bowl sleeves with built in grommets to use with different glass mouth pieces for this.

Spare batteries would be great as well.

Just found these grommets on reddit:

See I want this, but without the regular silicone mouthpiece hanging off :hmm:
Here is your solution I think:

Following up on this he's sending me two replacements (1 clear and 1 colored) which cost me $5 in shipping. The vertical slit he said is how it is meant to be but the misshapen bottom was not and it did cause aa small air leak.

I'll let y'all know how these others perform after they show up in a few more days.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
My Pivot came today. They got something there, for sure.

It's even smaller than I thought, which works perfect for me. This thing is fun and easy around the house, and will do well on trips in the car. The bowl is bigger than the Lightning pen and a hell of a lot cooler on the blue setting. The bowl reminds me of a smaller version of my Core 2 bowl. I like the silicone mp and the ease of use. Vapor isn't as cool as other erigs I use, but love the form factor.

When I go to the beach, I don't vape out in public. I usually take a walk to the car, open the windows, play some music and take a few hits. I have gone through a bunch of devices, but many have a ritual that I don't want at that time. The easiest has always been a cart pen, but they get so harsh and the hits just taste too fake to me. Enter the Pivot, gonna give this boy a try. Probably just need a few q-tips, a toothpick, and an easy-loading crumbly concentrate.

Right now it's fun around the house. Well done Puffco.

A follow up question to clarify: I read five clicks, while already in the blue setting, puts it into granny mode.

Is granny mode a lower temp than regular blue or is it just an extended session? Thanks
