Honestly every wax pen type device is going to have this issue to some extent. Like you said, it can usually be mitigated by optimizing your draw speed and how much you load.

Everything about this makes me want to grab and I’m not huge into concentrates. Glad they made something better for the size cause the Plus was such a disappointment. Price feels nice too and cool to see the WPA comes with a 3D bowl too

For anyone UK based, vapefiend is listing them at £129 but they aren't quite in stock yet. Will be in next week apparently with an email alert for stock arrival.

I don't have much rosin at the moment and probably not for a couple of months so I'll probably wait a little while... If I can resist lol.

Yep, it's a completely non issue, only happened because I was pulling too hard for that first chamber. Now I have a 3mm ripping around in there giving thick tasty hits without any splash!

Next priority is copping that glass adapter and extra chambers. Already have a second Pivot and the case on its way!

I've wanted a proxy for some time now, but the price held me back.
If this holds up to their claims and is easy enough to disassemble to clean without un-cleanable spots that collect reclaim, then it could be a winner for me. The price is a bit easier of a pill to swallow if the device is quality enough to last for years.

Someone earlier in this thread was asking about temps and specifically a lower mid 400's temp. I am pleased to report that Granny Mode is incredible, and very much needed on the Proxy too. Also it's so super easy to take teeny little micro hits mixed with air, you barely even need to be touching your lips to the mouthpiece. I've experienced better flavour from the Pivot than my 3dxl lol.

The other thing I wanted to mention was just how hot the chamber can get (as well as mouthpiece) if you're not careful. My Pivot will only be used with extra chambers from here on out, or at least a proper cooldown of maybe 5 minutes or so. Regardless of Puffco's built in temp control, that session feels way more hot and uncomfortable in all ways.

The Pivot came out less than a week ago, so third party accessory makers are still figuring it out. I think this is the best form factor so far, though I think you'd want to go even shorter for portability.

I do believe this is just the top cut off and replaced, which I think would make the coopers glass look better!

Literally every vaporizer thread on this forum discusses accessories. Doesn't mean you NEED them.
Agreed. Like @Werkedperformance said earlier in the thread, the adapter isn't just a piece of glass wrapped in silicone, it's a separate chamber. My money says you don't even think about buying the pivot without the adapter with it. My experience is that Puffco builds solid stuff so the pivot with the adapter is a wise purchase for a 2 in 1 (on the go pen + hit it through h20) vaporizer. Maybe not for the rig-meisters but prolly for some others

Decent review of the Pivot:

Interesting: the Pivot has excellent temp control.

Comparison with the Aeris: the Focus V option has a cooling unit while the Pivot does not. Though the Pivot does have a slight bend so at least the vapor has to move a little.

Something that's sold as a benefit to the Aeris that I totally disagree with: that it has a large, e-rig sized banger/atomizer. I don't think that makes sense in a wax pen device with a short vapor path. IMO, a smaller atty putting off less radiant heat makes more sense for short, dry vapor paths. These types of units are meant for small dabs, not globs.
