Pen Puffco Pivot

Does anyone know the dimensions of the pivot? :hmm: I can't find dimensions anywhere.

I have a POTV Xmax V3 Pro that is too big. Dynavaps are cool, but l'm wondering where the Pivot is size wise.

Pivot arrived today. Quick charge and basic puffco controls from there. Like the design of seemingly just being a battery.

Blue start with as expected taste and clouds. Thinner clouds then the pro or proxy, but again as expected. Satisfying for sure. Easy clean up.

The slate color is also very striking in person.

Cool. How long is it and what diameter? :hmm:

Got mine yesterday from local vape shop. It can't compete with my Peak Pro and 3DXL but it still packs a punch. I tend to do small dabs and the Pivot is a perfect fit. The video posted by @florduh pretty much sums it up.

So my pivot arrived today, there’s a fair amount of corrosion where the battery/body attached to the chamber.

I feel like this probably shouldn’t be like this. I reached out to my retailer to see if I should go through them or through puffco. Will update to see how it gets resolved… 🤷‍♂️
I have that on my battery connector area also, but not as much as yours. Ran a paperclip across it and it's smooth. My guess is its some type of manufacturing residue rather than corrosion.

That’s good to know and I hope that’s the case. Otherwise the build quality actually seems pretty solid

Literally every vaporizer thread on this forum discusses accessories. Doesn't mean you NEED them.
Disagree. NO pen I have or have seen even has an extra mouthpiece or whatever. These are pens. They should be all in one. And I won't even get in to the price...again.

The price is really good. The review video I posted showed the Pivot has good temp control. In 2024 you can't find a temp controlled wax pen for less than what Puffco is charging for this thing

I think you're confusing this device with a $15 dab pen with exposed metal coils made out of pure lead. The Pivot is more like a mini Divine Tribe v5.

The Pillar was such a better name. Although I guess either of them could concern you if you were going to read way too much into the 2 names when considered together.

They didn't succeed with their FocusV lawsuit so I guess they didn't want to step on Yocan's toes since they already have a Pillar.

My Pillar Pivot continues to blow me away... it's easily the cleanest/easiest to maintain vape i've ever had in the near two decades i've been in this game. It's like I never need to clean anything, there is no reclaim, and i'm using a 3mm gem too. The one hitters i've been getting on red have been pretty damn sublime! Puffco absolutely nailed it on this one. My 3DXL metrics are showing an approximately 75% decrease in usage, so overall efficiency is definitely through the roof, which means more money for tasty hash!!

Pretty sure I received a dud unit from Puffco. Green light flashes when charging or when I check the battery level, indicating a full charge I believe. Yet anytime I try to fire a session, I get 3 vibrations and a red light cascading down 3 times, which seems to indicate a dead battery. Brand new, just delivered and opened today. I guess it’s another Puffco warranty claim. What is it with this company and shitty batteries?

Anyone know of a plastic tube that might fit 2-3 of these? The goal is keeping them stacked/vertical in the pocket, etc. I wish I had a 3d printer! Could make a "double barrel" with pivot on one side and the spare prefilled chambers on the other in a compact case. But perhaps a doob tube style already exists in the right size?

Maybe a cigar tube?

Great idea. Someone else mentioned pvc plumbing pipe. Apparently you can get a 3/4" diameter 5" piece that's threaded on both ends that can be capped.

Edit: This looks like exactly what I need

Do you have a printers locally that does 3d printing? Would be pretty easy for them to knock something up.
