But my goal is to dry the herb for vaping so why wouldn't I want a pill bottle.......I used to store my herbs the same way. Then I tried JyARz. They really do make a difference. The medicine containers dried my herb out much quicker than a JyAR. I still use the medicine containers for ABV and stems and such. But they don't compare to either a mason jar or something with a great seal like a JyAR, and never hold my fresh herb anymore.
You've never seen the orange pill containers like antibiotics come in....?Yup. Typically, stock pill containers are not air tight.
Tito, can you post up a pic of that air-tight pill container? I've never seen one before.

They seem air tight to me......if you submerge it in water it doesn't leakAh, that's what I thought you meant. I guess I was a bit confused because you stated that they were airtight.
Looks like there's only one way to be sure! Props for this guy taking one for the FC Crew!!!They seem air tight to me......if you submerge it in water it doesn't leak

Why would they store medication in something that wasn't air tight?Water's just a tad bit thicker than air, eh?
HahahahahaLooks like there's only one way to be sure! Props for this guy taking one for the FC Crew!!!

Lol scumbags always trying to save a buck. They still keep the smell in and my weed fresh thoughCheaper maybe?
So someone "trying to save a buck" is a scumbag? That kind of over the top comment isn't appreciated here. I suggest you dial it back a little (or maybe a lot).Lol scumbags always trying to save a buck. They still keep the smell in and my weed fresh though
I really don't feel it was an over the top comment......calling large pharmaceutical companies scumbags for choosing a cheaper option isn't like directing it at anyone. I was talking about large coporations trying to save money I view as scumbags not people who try and save money(who doesn't lol). Anyway, I'm amazed that comment was taken so seriously. It wasn't meant to offend anyone nor was it directed at anyone. I never said someone trying to save a buck is a scumbag you put in the someone before my actual quote. I was saying scumbags which was referring to the word "they" in my previous post. Not malicious at all, not sure why it was viewed that way..So someone "trying to save a buck" is a scumbag? Yea I agree although i find profit considered before people just a foolish way to think but thats for another time. I wasn't trying to argue just make it clear I had no bad intentionsTwo things Tito. One, is that it is NOT a good idea to argue with a mod in public. Ya may want to take that to a PM. Two, is that ANY business's primary responsibility, be they large corporations or small mom and pops primarily responsibility is to generate profits and they do that by "saving money". That does NOT automatically mean that they are scumbags..................although, they could be.

I had assumed you had read through the thread and saw the train of comments leading to that......then you would know the context. Next, why would I want to be specific when "tossing out insults"? Then they would be directed at someone [which I wasn't trying to do]Not sure why you'd expect anyone to know who you were talking about. If you can't be more specific when you're tossing insults like 'scumbags', then don't post. And I view the term 'scumbag' as malicious, no matter who you're referring to.
I read this as equating being thrifty with "scumbaggishness",Lol scumbags always trying to save a buck. They still keep the smell in and my weed fresh though
In order to make it clear you were insulting a big, faceless organization. An extra word or two in your post and you could have avoided the need for further explanation. I won't even get into the topic of why pill containers aren't airtight, and that pharmacies supply the containers, not big pharma.why would I want to be specific when "tossing out insults"?
Surely you know the old saying about making assumptions. A post should always pass inspection on its own merit. It shouldn't require reading a whole thread, or even a whole page, for it to be acceptable. As grokit noted, your vague post had at least a couple of us thinking that you equated being thrifty with being a scumbag. Hell, I've been known to clean out a paper coffee filter and reuse it. I brown bag my lunch every day at work too. I'm always trying to save a buck, even if it's just so I don't feel guilty about buying another vape or a glass piece.I had assumed
I was directing it towards large companies for protecting profits by using cheap means. But this was a minor comment that had suddenly high jacked the original thread lol. But no I wasn't suggesting being thrifty or frugal means anyone is a scumbag lol tryna keep the good vibesI read this as equating being thrifty with "scumbaggishness",
nothing to do with individuals or companies so I was
First I wish you would talk about why pill containers aren't airtight because that pertains to the thread and could be valuable information. Second, failing to read through the read would seem that you had read the post without context and jumped the gun to reprimand me. But that is neither here nor there the fact is I nevercompared being frugal or resourceful to being a scumbag.....our planet needs more resourceful people and less profit motivated "scumbags".In order to make it clear you were insulting a big, faceless organization. Are we all sure that it is big pharma who bottle their meds in plastic bottles prior to distributing to the pharmacies? ...or could it be that the pharmacies are the ones who bottle in plastic? Just thinking out loud...
No thanks, and like I said, your post should be a little more specific when you use terms like scumbag.Uncle Tito said:First I wish you would talk about why pill containers aren't airtight because that pertains to the thread and could be valuable information.
You can't merge posts. If you fail to use the edit button to add to a post, then just use the report button. How do I merge my posts into one? I know I'm not supposed to back to back post.
lwien said:Now THERE'S some scumbaggishness right there. But hey, at least ya don't scrape your used toilet paper so you could reuse it later.
It's better than going without coffee. I'll reuse a paper towel too, if it just has some dry crumbs on it. You can't shame me. I'm too old to give a shit. You should be able to indentify with that.
